At first I thought that the livesuit just reconfigured humans in that form, but later we encounter a suitless pentapus on the captured ship.

2. In the Livesuit's timeframe they use pre-war tech and watch movies from before the war started.

We learn that the Carryx encountered humans 8000 years ago and that Anjin was colonized 3500 years ago ... but then in tFoB we enounter the same Corval (I assume) who was in Livesuit.

I'm curious how these will fit together.
