I have tried everything!! I have a National No. 7 and I know the part is the right one but I CANNOT get the ring to seat fully. This has been the best pressure canner imaginable for many years. I can’t bear to lose it!!! Thanks for any help!!

I bought a batch of old knitting supplies on FBMP and these were in a cool wooden tube case. They are not textured at the end for felting but are smooth and sharp at the ends. Google image was stuck on felting.
I found this swift……..in my attic!!!! It works beautifully for unraveling and then steaming the yarn.
I have a sweater to unravel but seams are not chain stitch. Anyone encounter this and have any suggestions?
I am about to start the salty air tee (by Samantha Guerin) in Quince sparrow linen yarn. I know there’s a good chance that I will run out of yarn and am willing to make this sweater slightly more cropped. Since I know this, is there a way to do the sleeves as soon as I join the underarms rather than wait until I get to the end of the body? I know the question sounds obvious that yes I can do this, but has anyone run into any issues doing this? Thanks for any suggestions.
Hi knit village! I’m trying to figure out if I should have 4 knit rounds at the end of this instruction or 3. I can’t tell if the red marked section is knit a round and then knit another round placing markers (4 total) or if it’s asking to knit a round, placing the markers in that round (3 total). Thanks!! Hi! I am looking for creative “spit” splicing methods. Anyone use steam or tooth brush or silicone sheet or hair flatiron? (Just throwing out some engineering ideas). I want creative, successful options that don’t involve actual spit or wet palms. This is specifically for cashmere but also other wool/animal blends. Thank you!!
