Found between under my mattress
I live in the Midwest of the US. See tile for where it was found.For reference, I’ve recently gotten what I assume is bed bugs, so I don’t if that’s what this is or if it’s some other more normal bug. Thank for any info/help!

I’ve been getting bitten on and off for the past few weeks
As the title says, I’ve been getting bitten on and off for the past few weeks since returning from a 3 day stay in the hospital. Bites initially started appearing approximately 2 weeks after returning home and were mostly on my feet (several were clustered around one area) and my ankles (yes, both feet).
We’ve long suspected that it was somehow beg bugs. I just woke up and found one of my scars (related to the hospital stay) was feeling really itchy. Turned on my light and lo and behold — a bug bite practically on top of the scar! Upon further examination l, I found the culprit fleeing the scene! Is this bug the one that I think it is or am I being paranoid?
