[INTP] [M4F] Looking for a deep-dive partner (Philosophy, tech, and everything in between)

Hi everyone,

I’m an INTP (24) and, to be completely transparent, I’m here looking for a genuine connection. I don’t have a specific "ideal" MBTI type for a partner; what truly matters to me is emotional maturity and the ability to hold a conversation that goes way beyond small talk.

(And yes, I realize the irony of an INTP demanding emotional maturity. But don't worry, I’ve recently updated my emotional processing software to the latest version. It rarely crashes now, and I only have to reboot it occasionally).

About me:

I’m a software developer, but I promise I don't fit the "boring guy staring at a green-text terminal in a dark basement" stereotype. I have an almost insatiable curiosity about the world. I can spend hours discussing philosophy, analyzing the hidden layers of a book, dissecting a piece of music, or debating why an abstract idea works (or why it completely falls apart).

What I’m looking for:

I’m looking for someone I can share unfiltered thoughts with. My goal isn’t strictly to force a romantic relationship from day one; my priority is to build a real connection—someone to philosophize, debate, and laugh with. If it naturally evolves into something more over time, then that’s warmly welcomed.

The vibe:

I’m aiming for a dynamic that is analytical yet fun. I don’t take life too seriously, but I do take good conversations seriously.

If you enjoy questioning the status quo, love diving down random Wikipedia rabbit holes at 3 AM, and value emotional intelligence as much as logic, I’d love to hear from you.

To break the ice: What is the most fascinating topic or random idea you’ve found yourself overthinking lately?

Always typed as INTP for a decade, but my latest cognitive function results have me questioning things. Thoughts?

It’s been years since I last took an MBTI test, but lately, my feed has been flooded with MBTI content for some reason, so I decided to take one again. I've known about MBTI for about 10 years, and back then, every single test consistently labeled me as an INTP.

However, after diving into this cognitive function test today, these are the results I got. It's worth noting that this morning, before taking this specific function test, a standard test scored me as an INTP first as well.

Since I haven't even thought about MBTI in years, I'm wondering if I have molded my personality over time or simply 'matured' in a way that changed how my functions manifest. My Ni and Ne are both incredibly high, and my Ti is still up there, but my Si and Fe are practically nonexistent.

Given these scores—where the Grant type says ISTP, the Myers function says INTP, and the axis-based says ENTJ—how would you interpret this breakdown? Am I an INTP with highly developed intuition, an ISTP, or something else entirely? I'd love to hear your reading on these results!

Cognitive Function - Score

Ne (extraverted intuition): 41.4

Ni (introverted intuition): 43.4

Se (extraverted sensing): 31

Si (introverted sensing): 8

Te (extraverted thinking): 18

Ti (introverted thinking): 40

Fe (extraverted feeling): 5

Fi (introverted feeling): 21

Grant function type: ISTP

Second-best choice: INTP

Third-best choice: ENTP

Fourth-best choice: ENFP

Axis-based function type: ENTJ

Myers function type: INTP

Myers letter type: INTP

Guess my MBTI; I just took this test. I guess it fits the stereotype of my personality.

It's been a while since I've taken this type of test. Today, just out of curiosity, I decided to try it because I saw several posts about it. Honestly, I stopped following the MBTI community a few years ago because I think personality is too broad a spectrum to be divided into types, although it is somewhat fun to talk about.

Okay, let me describe myself: I'm 24 years old, I study engineering, I have few friends, I tend to be quiet, but lately I've been trying to talk a lot more and connect with more people. My hobbies are technology, psychology, and well, honestly, I can be interested in any subject. I've traveled quite a bit in my short life (not because I have a privileged life, but because of my country's politics and economic situation). A few years ago, I was diagnosed with autism, and also with major depression. After years of self-examination, I feel I've matured a lot and I'm much more discerning about the content I consume. When I was younger, I devoured all the knowledge I could get my hands on; now I try not to fill my head with topics that aren't beneficial in the long run (I feel like I've wasted a lot of time rambling about too much knowledge, and I think I have a basic understanding of many subjects; I'm content with myself). I honestly feel that the next generations are prone to what I'd call "zombie brains," since the internet and media attract young people to junk or unhelpful content, resulting in little to no intellectual development. Unfortunately, I don't feel like many people around me can have a productive conversation with me (I started studying engineering again and I'm about five years behind my classmates). I feel a bit self-conscious because I feel many of my classmates aren't mature enough to have a conversation with me. Anyway, I've gotten a little off-topic, haha. It's a pleasure to meet you all; try to guess my MBTI type.

¡Hola gente!
