Answering the "tell me about yourself " question

Context: I'm based in London

One thing that always frustrates me about interviews is the "Tell me about yourself" question, because interviewers seem to use it in two very different ways.

Some treat it as a simple icebreaker, expecting a brief introduction about my background. Others use it as a substitute for "Why investment banking?", where they expect me to explain my motivation for pursuing IB.

The problem is that my "Why IB?" answer is about a minute long. If I give that answer to an interviewer who just wanted a quick introduction, it can come across as overly rehearsed or off-topic. They might even cut me off, only to ask "Why IB?" later, forcing me to repeat myself.

On the other hand, if I give a short personal introduction when the interviewer actually expected my motivation for IB, my answer may seem weak. I've even had interviewers move on without ever asking "Why IB?" explicitly, as if they expected me to cover it in my initial response.

So what do you do in this situation? I don't really want to ask, "Are you asking about my motivation for investment banking?" because that makes it obvious I've rehearsed different versions of my answer.

How to legally source Rubifen in the UK

Hello so I am using problem shared through RTC, however almost everything they have given me has had horrible side effects so much so I have had to pause my titration.

I have wrote abt my experience in these posts
https://www.reddit.com/r/ADHDUK/comments/1ro8gbv/experience_with_elvanse_and_side_effects_problem/
https://www.reddit.com/r/ADHDUK/comments/1qcm8lp/titration_process_medikinet/

Rubifen IR is the only thing that has seemed to have worked for me, is there any way I can get a prescription for this in the uk. I know it's available in Ireland and I also know that there is a specialist important license for it due to the temporary shortages, other than that you can request Named Patient Exception.

Idk why its not legal here, its the only thing that works for me.

Hyperphantasia obstructing logical thinking ?

I am good at imagining things physically.
But when I learn abstract concepts like logic or problem solving, it can get hard.

Feels like my mind goes empty, and I'm trying hard to squeeze a thought or force my brain to make some type of scaffolding/connecion to help construct whatever logic or abstract concept I am trying to learn.

Most of the time, it's like 80% endless squeezing/forcing my brain to think or scaffold the concept, and 20% real useful output.

I hate having this cos it takes me a really long time to learn maths cos I am trying to intuitively understand the topic.

People say, "Oh, you just need to visually represent the concept", but here lies the problem: this very statement is teleological cos I need to understand the abstract concept first to indeed know how to visualise it. This is why I found statistics very hard. I can't come up with the visualisation myself due to this very reason unless someone who knows it shows it to me.

I feel like people who are good with logic dont think in this way, how do they think?

Help sourcing Noots to UK

Want to get Semax, Selank, Bromantane, Phenylpiracetam and Piracetam.

My vendor list, as of yet, is.

pglchem
nootropicsource
cosmicnootropic
everychem
aniracetam. eu
rupharma

If anyone has any qualms about the vendors, like quality, price or product versions, pls do suggest alternatives or just cheaper ones.

I have a big problem that most of the phenylpiractam sources are hydrazide, which I don't want to take due to its very bad negative side effects/toxicity, and apparently, the only "pure "phenylpiractam is Everychem, and most other vendors lie due to the lack of chinese supply????

I'm not sure what the deal is regarding every chem's mouldy spray bottles. Should I be concerned?

THANK YOU!!

ps id prefer sprays as I have never done reconstitution before

Cerebrosylin and Neruopathy concerns?

I'm trying to see if there is a correlation between people who get neuropathy from this, like a common thread they all share.

Is it common that people get neuropathy because they took it IV instead of IM? I haven't heard of any debilitating cases when people have taken it IM.

Dont use this post to dismiss people's symptoms or call them hypochondriacs, this is a place for discussion.
