Who's actually tried the grind tape trick?
Which tape did you use and how did it go?

Porta-box concept
I’m attempting to design a collapsible box that I can throw in the back of my vehicle. The concept is two halves that can lay flat during travel and can be connected for a 10’ coping box or two 5’ boxes for transfers. Ideally, it would be sturdy enough for blading but light enough for one person to transport & set up.
Has anyone attempted or seen a design like this that’s worked? Does anyone with construction knowledge have feedback for if this would work, any suggestions, or downfalls to avoid?
Do you set "N/A" component properties?
Imagine you have a Figma component with properties built for desktop & mobile breakpoint and the type of component. However, Type 2 doesn't have a mobile version.
How would you build this in Figma and why?
- Use a "N/A" placeholder (left visual)
- one "layer" simpler, but user could select that option and get confused
- Build the breakpoints as base components for Type 1 (right visual)
- more complex component than above, but removes the need for "N/A" placeholder
- Some other solution
I'm wondering how often this "N/A" placeholder technique is used by y'all and why you do or don't use it.
