What kind of grass is this (NJ)

This broad leafed grass has settled into the bare patches during our run of hot weather in central New Jersey. It pretty soft, unlike crab grass and I assume color will darken as it matures. What’s the verdict? Should I keep it or pull it?

Edit: Survey says… Crab Grass!
