Got my car back from dealership after oil leak repair residue or leaking again?

I have a 2024 Chevy Blazer with about 20k miles. The dealership fixed an oil leak and cleaned the whole engine. I picked the car up Friday and there were no leaks Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Then this morning I noticed this underneath the car.

Does this look like leftover residue from the engine cleaning or does it look like it’s leaking again?

Am I wrong for feeling frustrated with this co-parenting pattern?

My child’s father has our daughter every weekend, but almost every Sunday he wants me to join them somewhere because she gets bored or wants to come home early. I’ve tried explaining that I need personal time too to rest, clean, do laundry, wash my car, and catch up on life after working all week.

I work 3:20 AM to 11:50 AM, and on top of that I help take care of my sister’s kids after work sometimes too. I’m constantly busy and exhausted. Meanwhile he’s almost 40, lives with his parents, doesn’t pay rent, and honestly doesn’t have the same responsibilities I do.

Every Friday I’m always on the go getting my daughter ready before he picks her up. I make sure she showers, eats, has her bag ready, clothes ready, everything. Then almost every Sunday coincidentally after I get out of work she FaceTimes me saying she’s bored or wants to come home. He knows exactly what time I get out, so honestly it feels like he’s the one telling her to call me.
What frustrates me is that I don’t do that to him.

We’re not together anymore and I don’t care to constantly have his company or involve him during my parenting time. When I have my daughter, she’s with me and I handle it. She rarely ever calls him saying she’s bored or wants to leave, and I don’t bother him on the days that I have her.
I don’t mind having my child back home, that’s my daughter and I love being with her. But it’s frustrating because it feels like I never truly get a mental break or personal space.

If he wants her every weekend, I feel like he should independently spend quality time with her instead of always trying to involve me on Sundays or bringing her back early.

I even suggested every other weekend before because this pattern keeps happening. Am I wrong for feeling frustrated by this?

Hertz gave me a dirty rental car with low coolant/oil — should I be worried?

I rented a Chevrolet Blazer from Hertz yesterday and honestly the condition of the car surprised me. They gave it to me really dirty inside and out, it was disgusting to the point where I even went to wash it myself after picking it up.

Today my neighbor checked under the hood and noticed the coolant reservoir literally had no coolant in it at all. The windshield fluid was also low and the oil looked low too. He ended up adding coolant for me because there was basically none in there.

I also noticed that the left side of the hood gets extremely hot after driving, even when I’m not driving that long. The temperature gauge still looks normal and there’s no warning lights yet.

After work tomorrow I’m planning to take it back and let them know everything. I’m wondering if they can just do a quick oil change and refill the fluids because honestly this is the type of car I usually drive. My personal car is currently at the dealership, which is why I rented this one in the first place, and I’m already used to driving this size/type of vehicle.

This is my first time renting a car, so I’m wondering if this is normal or if I should just ask for a completely different rental instead. Would you guys keep driving it or exchange it?

Will Enterprise charge me for this scratch?

Rented a car from Enterprise and accidentally ran over road debris at night. It left this scrape on the lower bumper. I didn’t get the damage waiver. Does this look minor or something they’d likely charge me for?

2024 Chevy Blazer leaking oil at 20k miles — anybody else?

I bought my 2024 Chevy Blazer in April 2024 and it currently has around 20,700 miles. I’ve kept up with all maintenance and suddenly noticed fluid/oil leaking. I dropped it off at the dealership and they still haven’t diagnosed it yet.

I’m honestly really frustrated because this is my first new car and I’m still making payments on it while also paying out of pocket for a rental from Enterprise. Chevrolet opened a case for me but told me reimbursement isn’t guaranteed.

Has anybody else dealt with oil leaks or major issues on a newer Chevy Blazer? What ended up being the problem and did Chevy help with a rental or reimbursement?
