How do you guys deal?
How do you handle the emotional withdrawal after you finish a show? Like I literally can't think about anything else because I am so emotionally attached to the show I finished two days ago. And even when I'm in the middle of a show, I can't really think about anything else. When I'm going about my day not watching it, I'm still consumed by it, like it hangs over me and is pervasive, and then when it's over, I literally cannot crawl out of the pit I'm in.
I just started watching Chinese dramas 2 months ago. So far, I've watched:
- Fake It Till You Make It/Pretentious Revelation (I got so into it and was somewhat obsessive)
- Brilliant Wind and Sea (so beautiful but the fewer episodes hence less time spent with the characters spared me, plus only one pair was great)
- Us and Them (a movie on Netflix so also spared because so short)
- Love is Sweet (liked it but got over it decently quickly)
- Love Between Lines (I am so stuck on this I literally can't get over it. I listen to the soundtrack on Spotify, like wth? I would never have listened to a soundtrack of a drama on spotify...)
I actually feel crazy. I'm still new to this compared to a lot of you on here, but how do you handle this? Do you just get desensitized to the emotional aftermath after watching a bajillion dramas?
