I am currently restoring furniture I already have or get off FB Marketplace because I just cannot find solid wood pieces anymore! I have searched at places like Early Settler and the real pricey furniture stores but they’re very light and veneer like if that makes sense.

Once upon a time we had a pine furniture place in Campbelltown and searching for something similar to get a few pieces I cannot seem to get on FB Marketplace. I have seen that maybe the Northern Beaches have stores like this. Can anyone confirm before I go into NIMBY territory or does anyone know of any such shops in Sydney at all?

Good evening all from Sydney Australia.

My daughter is obsessed with Joost and asked if we could go to the concert. I’m like yeah why not! Bought them in February when it was still at Enmore. Considering myself and the other half are in our 40s, we chose seating etc and my daughter is 14 and has special needs, so we opted as I said for seated tickets, facing the stage etc and obviously altogether

Got the email from ticketek saying the venue changed. At the time when I checked it still showed Enmore, so left it.

Checked last week and saw our seats had been separated for Hordern! So I emailed customer support. All the can do is offer side seats. I have stated this isn’t good enough and to escalate it but feel I won’t get far. I did say it wasn’t fair that people who obviously bought tickets early were given random seats with a venue change and that really the ones who bought for Enmore should’ve been given priority of where they want to sit.

Has this happened to anyone else? Are there higher avenues, perhaps an actual phone number to call?

Sorry for the long and winded post, my daughter is so hyped up, I know she won’t care where she is as long as she’s there but I do care.
