Yeah, and then that happened fifty times an hour.
At least they have priorities...right?!? Right? Oh, gods! 😭😭😭

I am 1000000% aware that cord cutting is a new thing. I was just wondering if anyone has been able to use it to not be triggered by something traumatic?
the TDLR of it all is I had a miscarriage and I sometimes get upset when I hear babies cry or I see gifts I got after it. It’s been two years and I just want to forgot it.
My dad passed away last year. My mom is in her early sixties and is trying to sell her house and she is not able to go up and down stairs. That I understand.
I live an hour away from her and she is wanting to use the money that she gets from the house sale on building onto our house so she and my brother can move in.
The issue is she is recently unemployed, my brother works an hour away from home. My brother doesn’t have his GED or drivers license. My mom didn’t teach me how to drive, I have no idea if my brother knows how to. My mom has not tried to go through her things at all and my brother was supposed to take things to the dumpster she rented for two weeks.
She texted me that my brother hasn’t done anything that he was asked to do, slept or played video game the whole time and my mother hasn’t touched anything. The house hasn’t been gone through at all and the only things in the dumpster are what my husband and I threw away two weeks ago.
I mentally cannot take this anymore. I cannot manage two homes as well as drive an hour to go through someone else’s house. My mom has always expected me to take care of my brother and parent him but I’m not parenting a “grown man”. I cannot keep asking them to do stuff and then it doesn’t get done.
My mom asked me not to get mad at my brother and I’m not but I told her if I wasted $300 on a dumpster I’d be mad and she wasn’t happy about that.
Basically would I be a horrible evil person if I stoped trying to manage them and let it fall apart? I’m not swooping in to save them like they expect me to either. I went through the same thing when my dad passed from cancer he didn’t listen to his doctors and expect me to have a solution.
