Was traveling up for well over a minute
With this being a long time multiplayer save of which i'm not the host i had to always keep this an all in one weed set-up and due to how old the save is now i've been able to make it into this and thought i'd share my current setup.
The reason there is no Trash Cans is because we use the clear trash command to remove trash due to how buggy the game used to get and it just being routine now. Otherwise this save is very much vanilla with no mods or commands. The trash cans originally went where each A/C unit is.
- Staff and Lockers x7 (5x Botanists, 2x Handlers)
- Grow Supply Storage 1000 (stacks of 10, otherwise would be 2000)
- Plants - x40 (plus x5 large shelf for immediate cropped storage)
- A/C Units x3 (Covers all plants)
- Dry Racks x12
- Dried Product Storage - x800
- Mixing Stations x6
- Mixing Ingredient Storage x2800
- Brick Press x1
- Packaging Station x1 (With Storage for 400 Jars and 400 Bags)
- Packaged Goods Storage - x400 bricks or bags
- Total Staff Costs per day $1,400
Entire Production is 80% Automated with me just doing all the mixing myself and dumping the end product in a locker to be collected and packaged.
The Mix i use that made this set up necessary (In order): Green Crack Base (Weed), Gasoline, Battery, Banana, Banana, Iodine, Viagra
Was not expecting it at all, as should be apparent.
i let out an evil laugh when it finally took off lmao, after a fair few minutes of trying i didnt think it would be possible without some anti gravity cheese, turns out out we can indeed fly a breeze block.
The list of items we can fly currently stands at:
-Basketball
-Wheelchair
-Can of Cuke
-Trash Can (figured this out eventually solely thanks to someone saying it is indeed possible)
-Traffic Cone
-Breeze Block
-Shitbox and Cheetah vehicles (these cant be controlled/navigated like the others they just float graciously across the map while you stand on top and eventually come back down)
Hyland Point Aviation technologies are coming along nicely.
Admittedly though each one requires a different way to get it to take off due to their varying shapes and sizes with the basketball being the easiest imo and the breeze block being toughest to get used to.
when it doesn't get consumed by the map that is.
Basically, i managed to buy one of every Nuka flavor from various vending machines since i started playing a month or so ago, while spamming healing items i accidentally consumed the Nuka Orange as i stupidly kept them all in my inventory until i found something decent to showcase them in at my base - where does one find another naturally, if at all? i was only holding onto them as i saw somebody have a bunch in a nuka bottle display crate thing and that's what i was aiming to do at my own base.
Cannot find another anywhere - even used gold bullion on the Nuka Collectron hoping id get one that way and still nada, i assume its either very rare or it doesn't collect that flavor tbf.
many thanks!
Big shoutout to all the random players who keep turning up at my base while i'm building and dropping me cool crafting plans, couldn't have become as addicted to building or got my base to look this cool without you all, appreciate it greatly!
Posted this earlier and took it down because i wanted to add couple extra things.
People said they wanted more pictures for reference and it be TLDR, so here. the full mural breakdown and potential next step location as a picture, with additional pictures and simplified text, Hopefully everyone can follow the logic haha.
thanks to the dude mentioned who helped identify the UD car park being same shape as the ouvre head today - spent many hours over the last year or so there on the basis i explain in the top half of this image and never once noticed in any capacity lol.
If anyone has the progression of a full playthrough with karma and progression based choices made, all cults complete, good game report etc etc etc and picked to kill michael - you may very well have the exact save file needed to begin the puzzle section already.
People like to ask why data miners wouldn't have found this and well.. we've always had access to it, the single setback we have is simply just criteria not met at end of game or lack of knowledge leading to not solving the puzzle for those that met the criteria and are able to do it.
i am working on a breakdown of the phrenology head because that requires it's own explanation why B is the correct option as well as what each other letter means (which is both nothing and something to the characters, which is why its complicated)
anyhow TLDR: with a good moral choice and good karma playthrough by picking B you allow all the neural pathways to be fully connected and gain a balanced mind/meet criteria B. That's essentially the TLDR, the full things is very uh, puzzle'ish lmao.
anyhow, enjoy! i've likely left key details out here or there so apologies if so - it's a lot to recite from memory.
Evening all, I want to preface this by saying i have been working on the Purple Mural specifically since around 2019 and this is an amalgamation of years of scouring the whole map and playing/picking apart story mode - the only reason i am posting is people here recently shared things which may assist in my findings eventually and since that element of this was found by others it made sense to post and see what everyone thinks of my coincidental findings and hopefully somebody can take this info and run with it to a solution.
Here are some basic criteria you need to participate in this Mural, This is not optional and will prevent you from doing certain things post-story if not done correctly during and after it at the earliest time possible in each instance.
Attain 100% Completion
Complete all activities with family such as tennis with amanda and general hobbies/past times for michael such as yoga.
Operate only on a permission to kill basis during campaign as michael, use other characters every instance where necessary instead. Exemptions are missions like the one where you rescue tracy or jimmy and have to defend them - note down to explicitly only defend them or others, it's important.
Complete all collectibles to ensure you have the space docker and go-go monkey blista.
During the campaign choose every option that leaves you with no money or not much reward.
Complete all phone internet webpage interactions such as epsilon program, stock markets etc, this is very important.
Right, i think that'll do for mandatory per-requisites, i will say that although i can't prove these are essential it's abundantly clear (to me) that they very well are.
Okay, Onto actual stuff now:
I began researching this mural after becoming obsessed with the Textile City one many years ago and realizing eventually that the Textile City and Purple Doomsday murals share the same theme in essence - Basically two pieces of the same puzzle.
Looking at the story, the endings, the general theme of the way the characters influence not just the city but also the people around them it became clear there was an element of karmaic progression for michael and his character throughout and after the story depending on choices - with some of his family/acquaintances it's very subtle but with time in-game and the right choices the way they speak to and treat him slightly shifts. This is only true to the game with a playthrough deemed to have good karma for michael. Any other choice or too many wrong decisions and they permanently despise him and it's harder to rectify post-story (i believe intentionally)
I believe throughout the story its not required to make every decision matter but i believe there is an invisible tally that keeps tabs on what mentality you have played with and if the minimum amount of "karma" is not reached then this will not work at the end of the game as you have not earned your reward.
With that said - we all know what the purple mural looks like, So i'll start with the simplest thing - it's colour.
Purple is a colour that represents wealth, power, spirituality and creativity - historically it was very expensive to make so only the powerful and wealthy could really use it for general things like dye and such, which is also why it historically doesn't appear on national flags too.
Now, we must ask where on the map can we find something purple that is associated with all of those things? The answer is simple - Next to the union depository there is a red and white apartment building and on top there is a purple light which is borderline a beacon.
Why is this important? i saw here recently somebody share a snippet from a drunk dev that said pay attention to the lights in the city as one will be visible more than others from chilliad, or something like that - anyway, this light is visible from chilliad on both xbox one and enhanced and i assume would be on 360 too.
It's in such a place you wouldn't think much about it but i believe this is what that dev was referencing and i've had this theory years before i saw that post the other day, it pretty much just added a layer of confirmation for me.
This light also comes on much earlier than usual and much later at random times/days, the most interesting time i saw it coming on was 19:00-19:03 and this happened during the start of the story so one would assume whatever monthly calendar the game uses that it would be towards the start maybe if we wanted to replicate it consistently? Why this stood out is that it didn't come on at exactly 19:00 and flickered until it became solid colour at 19:03. I have also seen it do this online too at that time so its a programmed thing at a set time and not a one off bug or glitch for SM.
Okay so on the foundational basis that this could be ground 0 for the purple mural i then began looking round the area for things that would match the iconography of the purple mural and separated ones like the ying/yang symbol, friedlanders logo etc as i believe they are pre-requisites and not icons.
What was left was a handful of icons to look for such as the keyhole, the circular maze, the stairs etc.
Now, this next part for your visual understanding i need you all to go visit the car park behind the union depository and find the one singular manhole cover that is square which has the letters M.F.S on it - also has a road marker arrow pointing to it, can't miss it really.. Stand on that manhole cover, face the UD building and use your brain to look around your FOV and search for things that match the iconography on the purple mural, you'll have to really look but once you see them - it's hard to unsee.
You should find from this location within your view range without moving
The keyhole icon, the stair icon, a metaphorical but existing representation of the circular maze (and surrounding you is everything else themed such as law, order & finance etc.
Anyhow, Across the street under the overpass directly visible from this location is a billboard that reads "What will you do?"
Alongside this next to this car park there are drains that say "Direct Sea Pipeline" or something on them as well as a hatch that says "Exit, may open suddenly" which has an M on it too - what's interesting is these are sporadically placed in questionable locations around this area and around the textile city mural.
The only icon that is not accounted for in this location directly is the pacific standard bank icon and i believe that is the conclusionary location to this after this first initial part is complete and where we will receive our reward.
So, That's basically the location and relevant things, now, we look at the smaller details that add credence to this location such as posters which can be found on the wooden partition, These posters are seen numerous places but are hard to find in-tact and not torn, one in particular (a phone number on a green poster) that says something along the lines of "Play with me" or "be my friend" has another poster i found which is full intact and is opposite the marina you can buy as michael alongside a bunch of other complete posters which are usually torn. This number on the poster has an almost dial up like tone when called - not immediately either it rings for a little bit. Not sure if relevant was just strange to find in the same location i was looking guess.
Another poster that's common but oddly and conveniently placed here is "softly softly catchy monkey"
and there's a couple others that could have connotative meanings to the mural too.
all-in-all i believed this location to be vital to the purple mural all things considered and felt like i had the place down but not the time or series or actions to progress- THEN i saw a post about golden hour and maze bank casting a shadow like a sundial and given this places location sitting right in that shadow (at least im 100% sure it does given its position) I felt that was just another layer of confirmation that i was in the right place. The reason why is they said golden hour is 18:50 onwards and of course i've seen the purple light comes on at 19:03. (the pacific standard banks founding date was 1903 too i believe)
So, what do i think this mural is? Well.. have any of you ever watched any of the old kids and family shows where they basically solve puzzles and riddles in temples/jungles, have to blindly navigate things through obstacles to get gems or diamonds etc? examples from the UK are Jungle Run, Crystal Maze or Fort Boyard, i truly 100% think this is the theme they went for with this and the textile city mural. I believe with the criteria met you qualify to solve a puzzle or timed event using this location as the start and then have to complete or navigate it within a set amount of time, whatever the process of this is it will eventually lead us to the pacific standard bank where one final puzzle must be solved using the busts in the building (which have some interesting destructible mechanics depending on progress and completion, as do the light fixtures on tables which when damaged look exactly like scales of justice and can be tilted by shooting them with a sniper rifle or stun gun) i believe this is eluded to subliminally by michael having a bust with no head near his front door too. (i know it means hes lost his head but equally, things can mean more than one thing)
I only believe this to be the case because the devs would have grown up and/or have their kids grow up watching these shows as they were very, very popular in their day and in truth it would make an awesome concept for an easter egg such as this.
Another thing to note about the textile city mural is that if you face it directly it points to the maze bank, but theres a spawn with i think michael? (maybe franklin) where you spawn under the adjacent binco clothes stores price tag/arrow logo and from that angle the hands do actually point exactly straight to where the purple light is. Just a side note really for extra credence.
Anyhow, please visit the locations mentioned - if you have the relevant progression and have also completed the peyote easter egg then definitely let me know if you find anything additional. I didn't exactly explain myself well i don't think as it's a lot of criteria and choices to recite exactly but i'm hoping others experinced with the story will see this the same way i do after spending some time in and around these areas and cross referencing with the purple mural and also the textile city mural + all while excluding what is represented via progression. There are other things i noticed from the location too but i want to see if anyone else naturally notices them using just the info i provided so that it affirms to me that im not just looking too much at things that aren't relevant. if that makes sense?
I believe traversing this area and what surrounds it within a couple blocks each direction should provide enough assurance it's the right location as it did with me, if you find anything additionally meaningful from this information please let me know cause i'd just love to see if it's solved and if any if this was confirmed to be actually credible/useful to that in the end!
I will say, My previous theories to the theme of this mural to get to this point before fixating on the location i did were as follows:
Director Mode Easter Egg using unlocked characters relevant to the symbols on the mural such as friedlander, dave etc.
Choosing option B and the reward being getting michael back at the end of the EE via reincarnation (mostly cause of the B on the textile city mural and the whole connection to spirituality etc)
That it was a puzzle that led to a maze to fight a minotaur (which i thought was friedlander as he owns minotaur finance) - though despite other evidence hinting/suggesting none of the things actually led to anything or a direct place that i could credibly say "yeah i think that's right"
Please let me know what you think of this - note that i believe all four murals are seperate and i personally have 0 belief this particular mural has anything to do with the alien side of things and what people are looking at with that and the only crossover scenario from that yellow mural would be the golden hour shadow since it involves the sun.
If i remember anything else that i've forgot to add i'll edit this post, any questions feel free to ask this whole conclusion has been a process so happy to help others with the karma/decision elements and such if they are unsure.
Put these together because it’s a vibe but upon doing so noticed we have very little clothing and paint options in yellow that isn’t piss coloured, we need more.
Didn’t realise they were dressed the part of FIB until they got out lol was like “why they trying to pull ME over?”
