Earl, why you doing all that?
Cheeks were clenched in the last 5 seconds over that hill. Jesus.

I have an automatic 2024 Corolla LE with under 14k miles. The information on the car states that it has a CVT which I think might be the reason for the stutter, but I'm not sure how that would affect it.
If I accelerate carefully, the moment it's about to hit 10mph, the vehicle jerks a little. Imagine tapping the brake lightly at 70mph and that's how it feels. It doesn't happen at higher speeds. It's not violent, but noticeable enough to justify this post, and I'm not sure a bystander would notice the car jerking if they were looking at it accelerating.
Facts:
- If I idle the car for a minute or two before driving on a 90 degree day, it happens noticeably less.
- It appears to occur less often during a long trip (I sometimes drive over 100 miles in one shot every few months)
- I think it happens less often when the AC isn't running, but that's yet to be tested.
Any ideas?
