Up until last night HomeKit has been working very well on my iPhone 17 Pro, running the Developer Beta 27.

All my HomeKit accessories are generated by Home Assistant.

Last night I updated Home Assistant to core 2026.7.1 and went to sleep.

This morning I woke up and noticed all my HomeKit accessories are missing.

My first assumption is that the update caused the issue so I restored my Home Assistant backup that was made just before the update, but that didn’t solve the problem.

All Home Assistant devices and entities are working fine.

So here I am scratching my head, wondering what to do next.

Any suggestions? It did cross my mind that the iOS beta could be the culprit, but I’ve had that installed since it was released and all was well.

As per the title.

Most of my Notes consist of PDF file attachments and it seems that Siri AI can’t read or summarize the contents of those PDF files.

A pity.

I would like to backup certain shared Google Sheet files from Google Drive to my Synology NAS.

I tried using CloudSync but that does not seem to handle shared files. In fact, it does not seem to handle my own Google Sheet files.

Am I missing something, or am I trying to use the wrong tool for the job?

I have Plexamp installed on my iPhone and created a large playlist (about 38 GB) and downloaded it so that I can play it when I’m out of mobile signal range.

For reasons not relevant here, I lost my entire music library on my Plex server and I have since recreated it. The result is that the playlist no longer exists in Plexamp, although the downloaded playlist is still there and can still be played.

Now I have bought a new iPhone and I set it up via Apple’s auto transfer method from the old iPhone. Unfortunately the downloaded playlist did not transfer.

Is there any way to transfer the downloaded playlist from the old iPhone to the new iPhone?

I've recently moved away from Garmin to Hammerhead Karoo and I'm missing the Radar Speed Overlay app, available in the Garmin ConnectIQ app.

I’ve reached out to the developer of the Garmin app and he’s not planning to develop an extension for the Karoo.

Is there anything similar that can be side loaded?
