Soil help!

My husband took my Tropica soil bag outside and even though it was clipped close it's now got some sort of tiny bugs in it (thunderstorm overnight so everything got soaked).

Can I still use this soil in a new tank? Should I do anything to it?

Changing my planting

I have had this 76L tank since February and would like to change up the aquascaping and planting up a bit now that I am a bit more experienced.

Problem is that the tank currently houses platies, minnows, rasboras, nano corys and assortment of shrimp. I would probably have to move them all to another tank in order to change up their home...

I have two smaller established tanks one is 20L and has 3 juvenile platies and 5 shrimp in it. The second is about 23L, planted and has no fish in it. Do you think that would work temporarily or would the stress on my livestock not be worth it.

Naive Question

I have this 23L tank which has recently been planted. It's not got any fish etc. in it other than a rogue snail I think. The tank currently has a heater and small filter.

Is it possible to transition this tank to a full or partial (may need to hold on to the heater) walstad setup once the plants are established?

What is this?

Any ideas? Apologies for bad video, it's tiny, moves fast and tough to capture

Is it a good witch or a bad witch?

I have a 72l tank with a few fish including 3 platies (initially - got them mid February)

It was 2 females and a male and they had babies - we currently have 5 of various sizes some of which I have moved to a different tank

The male platy suddenly started acting unwell, not swimming, lethargic and so on. We moved him to a different tank to try and treat but it was too late ☹️

Now one of the female platies is acting similar way, hiding a lot, not very interested in food. The other female platy is very energetic and still eating (possibly a bit frantic - appears to be surfing up and down the side of tank as in photo)

Have tested the water and it's within normal levels, the ph a bit high. The other fish (minnows, rasboras, barbs) and shrimp appear fine

Not sure what the issue is and am fairly new to this - any advice?

Femal 53 (uk based)

Finally saw a dermatologist that prescribed 2.5 oral minoxidil and dutasteride regiment. Started taking on April 14 so am only a couple of weeks in.

Can I ask others on same regime what to expect? Obviously we are all different so I don't expect same results but was wondering if there's some sort of timeline of when you can expect to see some sort of difference.

Thanks for your help in advance ❤️
