UPES vs GEU.extra 7–9 lakh worth it?

I’m trying to decide between UPES and Graphic Era Deemed University, and I want a serious, honest opinion from people who actually know the situation.

The difference in total cost is around 7–9 lakh. I can manage it, but it is still a big amount, so I do not want to waste it if the value is not there.

What I have heard so far is mixed:

some students say UPES is losing placement strength

some say Graphic Era has improved a lot in placements and opportunities

a few people also told me that some companies avoid or blacklist UPES. I do not know how true that is, so I want clarity from actual students/alumni

I also want to know whether the brand value, peer group, internships, coding culture, and overall exposure are actually better at one of these colleges

I am not asking for random hype. I want the real picture:

which college is better for placement

which has better companies visiting

which gives better ROI

which one is safer if I am focusing mainly on career outcome, not just campus name

If you are from either college, or know the placement scene properly, please answer honestly. I would rather hear the ugly truth than fake marketing.

Thanks.

Quick note: This version sounds more serious and gets better replies because it asks for exact decision factors and avoids sounding like a fanboy post.
