Would anyone be willing to make me a set of custom wood grips for this Kimber K6 DASA 4”? Really good shooting gun and I really like it, but the grip isn’t big enough. I know there’s some polymer options out there and I’ll probably grab those too, but I’d love to have a nice wooden set. Nothing fancy; but nice, durable and functional. Haven’t seen anyone really offering what I’d like! Please comment below and I’ll reach out.
So you guys have seen this shotgun on this subreddit before…. And I said it was complete. Since then I’ve sent about 500 rounds of everything you can think of through it and I made some changes. Firstly, I needed to mount my light closer to the front of my gun so I didn’t lose ~30% of my light to barrel shadow. I switched my stream light mount back to picatinny from M-Lok so I could mount it on my Strike Industries barrel clamp. The lower position helped streamline the appearance of my A300UP as well as eliminating that barrel shadow. Secondly I added the Langdon Tactical heat shield. Easy to install and serves two purposes: I can now shoot more than 20 shells without having to grip my gun weirdly or wait for cooldown. It also created a good mounting solution for my pressure pad. 10/10. NOW she’s complete…. I think.😂🫠
I’ll start by saying Lioness is probably my favorite show on TV right now. I like Landman, Marshals, and Yellowstone as well. I myself am not very political, and I totally get that it’s his hit show and he can do what he wants… but these random tangents into China, clean energy, C19 etc. REALLY take you out of the moment lol. Just my two cents.
Dad’s friend gave me this after helping out with them at a local gun show. Very cool and well kept piece. Would love more info, but from what I’ve gatherede over the last day or two, Herter’s developed the .401 Magnum in 1961 in West Germany; gun and cartridge. It’s an intermediate between .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum similar to .41 Magnum. Supposed to be a really good shooter. Will test and post later!

Showed the build on this subreddit a few days ago. Finally got it to the range. Ran flawlessly. Here you see my first 8 rounds: Winchester PDX Defender 00 Buck + Rifled Slug. My favorite for HD. Good spread at 25yds, didn’t even have to adjust my Holosun very much after a boresight I did at home. Recoil was felt but not nearly as gnarly as I initially thought.
