Now off Progesterone forever! Kinda scary but feeling optimistic as tumor and fancy free! SSRIs maybe on the table

Been PMDDing suicidally since I hit puberty, and seeming a little like it might be a me thing, but for medical reasons had to stop the estrogen and had a shitty 20 days of progesterone.

Got a condition that affects my blood sugar and brains glucose use, so hoping stabilizing that brings me to “base PMDD”. It’s kinda terrifying but I’m excited for 20-day hell to end and hopefully work out a management strategy that works in adult life.
It’s never over but it’s actually kinda over!!!!

Experience applying to uni (UK and abroad) with mixed leaver qualifications?

Hi! Not sure if this is the place to ask but I graduated with a pretty mediocre IB diploma at 16 and since decided to sit a couple A levels and AS maths for a medicine application.

There isn’t really resources online (and I’m only 18) but I thought I might be more likely to find those with comparable apps here. Most admissions offices are pretty flippant and I’d be interested to hear what avenues helped anyone have applications considered!

Dirty body spray smells of Mint sauce (but in a good way?!?)

Disclaimer: I’m English

Obvs your association of the sort of tarragonny herby mint may be different if you don’t eat it often in whatever food culture but omg. I feel slightly like a joint of roast lamb but it’s so fresh it’s perfect.

I’ve been dreaming of a proper fresh body spray with mint that didn’t lean gourmand or sharp and <333. Waiting to try it with my free Outback soap when I next order online.

SK280: can I bind off using the machine?

Hi! I’ve been getting along great with my SK280, however I started off hand knitting and absolutely hate how tedious it is using the sew off method.

I’ve tried to look, but reached crowd sourcing stage for any possible machine bind offs?

No expense spared, I’m willing to spend any amount of money on some fancy carriage because omg I’m too impatient.

Anyone made it into stem/medicine with poor highschool maths? 18 and really wanna hear some success stories

Hi! Not sure if this is the right place however I fell under the umbrella of dyscalculia with a “neurodivergent” gene disorder. I was always strong in linguistic processing but I just failed the hell out of year two A level maths and really would like to hear some success stories for people able to enter STEM.

It was my dream to enter medical school but it seems like maths is gonna hold me back. I’d love to hear from anyone who lived the worst case and had stuff turn out in the long run.

Got my certified A’s in bio and chem but just couldn’t land the processing needed for year 2 calculus🫠

Stuck on P-pills after 4 okayish years on estrogen. Ffs does it ever stop. [TW cancer/ideation]

I’m 18. The combined pill was the only thing that got me from 11 to now. I genuinely would’ve gone ahead with killing myself if I hadn’t started when I did. But holy fuck.

Last year I find out I have a gene disorder, they fuck me around enough as a former “difficult patient” that I don’t get any scans and now I have three tumors so advanced/embedded that I’m no longer a candidate for surgery. No more estrogen ever because I’m a blood clot risk because those tumors are so large :).

And then, my uterus enters stage left pursued by a giant tumor <3. 24 days on provera for every scan because my uterus is too juicy. So now it’s spontaneous crying season and I have exams :)))))) already failed calculus sitting it whilst having the mega-luteal-period whilst having mirena

I’m so fucked off, I wanna start my life but I keep fucking it, I know I have to assume a degree of responsibility but god I wish it would just get easier. For a bit anyway. I started so much when the estrogen worked and suddenly all I did was throw my toys out the pram.

Gothenburg, any tips on the local lesbian scene and how to get into dating?

Long story short I’m 18 and a certified loser lesbian, no idea what’s on in the local area as a social late bloomer in an empty town. Would love to chat with anyone even remotely in the know about the area 🫠

Rosalina smells great at first, dries down to pee and sweat, same problem with grape soda?

I’m 99% sure this is just a me problem but has anyone else tried Rosalina and grape soda? I’m so sad it smelled so juicy at first :( but I’m not sure if grape soda has caused similar issues in people with a similar body chemistry to react with Rosalina 🫠
