[SRPE45] Mojito on Jubilee from Long Island

How are you guys feeling about this combo?... I’m liking it, though a two‑tone Jubilee would be awesome.

[discussion] Online “Top Dive Watches Under $1,000” Lists Are Mostly Unreliable

I was reading a fresh article this morning from a “reputable watch website,”( along with a few other posts) about the best dive watches under $1,000, and it honestly frustrated me. They listed a bunch of lesser‑known brands and microbrandst but didn’t include any Citizen Promaster at all, except for mentioning "Caravelle Sea Hunter" as the same level as Fujitsubo.

I'm pro‑microbrand, but let’s be real—most of them are assembling third‑party parts into a nice‑looking watch. Very few offer real innovation: no in‑house movements, no new complications, no new technology, no meaningful problem‑solving or movement improvements. They absolutely deserve a spot on a “prettiest watches” list, but not on a “best dive watch” list....No serious diver is choosing a microbrand over a Citizen Promaster for actual diving.

So how do microbrands like Doxa, Zelos or Traska end up ranked above Citizen? No disrespect, but most microbrands sit much closer to fashion watches than to a true dive watch from Citizen or Seiko.... Any “best dive watch” list that leaves out Seiko and Citizen isn’t worth your time.

The Temporary Cure...

Whenever the urge to buy a new watch kicks in, I just throw on the Fujitsubo—instant relief… at least for a few hours.

It spends more time outdoors than my G‑Shock—comfortable, lightweight, and readable from any angle.

[Discussion] The Watch That Was Too Good to Own Only Once

Which watch impressed you so much that you couldn’t resist picking up more than one? I’m always curious about the pieces that truly win people over, so if you’ve got photos to show off your multiples, please definitely share them... I couldn’t resist the Fujitsubo, Tsuyosa, and Zenshin.

[96B427] Bulova Sutton Classic. Finally Went Rectangular.

I’ve always wanted a square or rectangular watch, but most tank‑style pieces look tiny on my 8‑inch wrist. After years of sticking to round watches, I finally went for this one. It hits that rectangular‑watch craving perfectly. Looks great on the wrist, and the open‑heart movement is just fun to stare at.

[MTS-115D-2A2V] The $60 Bambino Killer

I know everyone has their own biases and brand loyalties, and some of you may downvote this, but the truth deserves to be said. I own a limited‑edition Orient Bambino along with several other Orients, plus plenty of watches to compare against. Judging purely on appearance—ignoring the cheap Casio bracelet and the movement—this watch is a $60 Bambino killer.... (BTW My car was parked when I took the pictures)
