Our first Muley hunt, Eastern Wyoming national forest. Little bit of knowledge, lot a bit of luck! My buddy's big 4x4 walked right up to us 3 hours into opener, shot at 30 yards. I put 48 miles on my boots over the next 3 days for my little 3x3, but would have been happy with a spike!

Our first ever mule deer hunt, my buddy and I both tagged out DIY in Eastern Wyoming. We lucked into his big buck at 10 AM opening morning and then hiked a total of 48 miles to find my little buck over the next 3 days.

Early teal started with a bang in NW Iowa. Buddy and I got our limits in 20 minutes Saturday morning (biggest flocks of teal I've ever seen, had to wait for shots so we didn't go over limit in 1 shot) then got 16 with 2 more buddies on Monday.

Jerry rigged a boat blind out of some old dog fence panels, turned out pretty good! Mounted halves of door hinges (with the hinge pin removed) to the edge of the canoe, the hinges on the dog fence line up with them and you put the long wire hinge pin through both. Easy removal for fishing or you can

Been throwing every walleye bait I can think of for the last week at walleyes cruising shallow at night. They would fly in to my bait and stare at it before taking off. I saw them chasing bluegills up shallow though. So last night I threw a hail Mary and caught a 22 on a 8 inch glide bait!

Well I had another unexpected bycatch while walleye fishing last night... I guess paddletails will literally catch anything

Had quite the unexpected bycatch while walleye fishing last night! Was down in Kansas for a work trip, decided to pop down to the river to catch some walleye and ended up fighting for my life on 8 lb braid for 20 minutes. I now know I can trust my knots.

Finally convinced my wife to come out for the walleye night bite, and she stuck a pig! Casting paddletails from shore has been insane the last month.

Finally convinced my wife to stay up for the night bite and she stuck an absolute pig, first time she's fished in a couple years.

Incredible night of fishing last night, caught 24 walleyes in 2 ½ casting paddle tails from shore. Topped it off with a fat 27

Wading in Iowa, my buddy's walleye was much healthier than mine. Had to make two posts since only one picture is allowed.

Minnesota Opener was a success, caught and released a handful of walleye 24-27, kept one 19 and then caught a few nice northern later after getting a couple hours of sleep.
