Help me Optimize

Hello All. Here is a brief overview of my Financial holdings.

  1. Liquid cash - (House hold expense + immediate cash availability for old parents)

  2. Meezan Kafalah - PKR 1m locked for 10 years - Started back in 2024 or 2025. Hasn't really grown as far as I understand myself

  3. UBL AICP -1 - PKR 1.9m secondary saving bucket to stay liquid but still make some money on the idle cash

  4. UBL VPS - PKR 20k per month till I hit 60 - Retirement bucket. Currently a little under 500k (most volatile over everything else)

My risk profile is low - medium for most of my investment. I cannot risk losing my savings to quick gains so I don't mind a steady growth.

Except the VPS since that's riding the 23 year future predictions. Whatever happens. Happens.

I'm not in PSX yet but I would like to. I can bring my liquid cash down to PKR 1.0m max and take some of the money to Dividend stocks for holding.

Ultimate goal? Buy a house/apt and leave something for my family behind me. No, I'm not dying yet but isn't that what all Men want to do who are building themselves from the ground up! LOL.

What do the experts here suggest I do to optimize this further? Improve it somehow?

Issues with Location fetching

My laptop is unable to fetch my accurate location. Earlier suggestion was a browser based issue but now Firefox is also not able to fetch my accurate location. Location service was working fine earlier. I have not messed around with any settings as far as I remember.

If this issue is resolved, I'll prefer going to back to Brave than use Firefox

Sharing a problem that has been a major bummer for me for the past few months.

Context:
I picked up a used/box open HP Elitebook x360 1040 G6 (Core i7 8th Gen 16/256). Initially it was just randomly freezing while in use. I had to force restart to get it work again. This happened for 3 years but never so severe that Windows 11 would just not work and consistently go in BSOD > restart loop.

So far my research has led me to a faulty driver between Windows 11 driver framework and HP keyboard/HP hot keys on all popular forums

The issue:

  1. The Elitebook has a Japanese/En keyboard - Few keys different than your standard En keyboard.
  2. Windows 11 randomly gives WDF_Violation error
  3. Something to do with the KbldFiltr.sys file
  4. USB Root hub or usb devices (i have no external device connected to the machine)

Attempted Solutions:

  1. Fresh and clean install of Windows 11 (twice)
  2. Downgrad to Windows 10

The machine will restart the moment I log in or the Windows 11 update will never complete the system stays in some restart loop or the other.

Tech in my local area is telling me this machine is faulty, hardware issue or whatnot and I should sell it for scraps. A friend suggested I install Linux on it (which I did) and the machine is working flawlessly but I'm not much of a Linux person. Installing Linux did confirm that this is not a hardware problem because the machine has not crashed even once.

If someone can assist with resolving the error I'm facing, you will be a life saver. I don't want to scrap the machine because I paid good money for it and for my daily use this machine is perfect.
