Please help me find New Freedom Brand Maxi Pads

My aunt gave me a box of New Freedom maxi pads from the 80s I think. They are the MOST COMFORTABLE pad I have ever used in all my life. It’s like a cottony pillow down there. But they don’t sell them anymore. Does anyone know where I can find New Freedom? They’re in pink individual wrappers. Regular I think. I don’t have the actual box. I need to get more. I never want to go back to the plasticy feeling shit.

No swimming rule at Marsh Creek is dystopian horse shit

Relaxing at marsh creek and the park ranger keeps coming up and announcing on his little loud speaker “no swimming or wading in the lake. Go back to shore” What a bullshit rule. Why does it exist? Liability? Insurance? Regulations? How about swim at your own risk? I’m so sick of this overly policed shit. Just let people enjoy a public park. It’s the only free way to cool off for fuck sake.

500 houses for 55+ and an aquatics center going on beautiful farmland on Lionville Station Road

Please drive down Lionville Station Road and tell me more development is the right thing for that green space. I took a video of my last drive. I’ll DM it to you if you want.

I’m so sick of the over development of this area. DASD owns the land. They were going to build a high school there. So our tax money just sat there for how long while the land appreciated in value. Will we get any of it back? Take a lucky guess. And what hospital will all these 55+ people go to? And what will happen to all the 55+ communities when all the boomers die? You think Millennials will be able to “downsize” to a $650k house?

What is wrong with my tomato plant? Northeast US

It’s in full sun. About 80 degrees. I water it a little every day unless it rains. It’s in a mixture of local dirt and expensive store bought soil.

I’m a mom with 2 little kids and I’m so f*cking sick of doing everything

I’m a stay at home mom but my husband is a freelancer and goes weeks without working. He will watch the kids for me so I can run errands or get a break but whenever I come home the house is trashed. I straighten up the house constantly and buy the things the kids need and manage the schedule and register for camps and schools and buy the gifts and make sure they’ve gone outside and have eaten properly and then I’m also picking his clothes off the floor and putting his dishes in the sink and helping him write emails and working on our business we’re starting and answering his million phone calls every time I leave the house etc He’s called me twice as I write this from a parking lot.

I feel like he doesn’t respect me and the hard work I put into keeping the house straightened up. I’ve told him that I do it for myself because when the environment is less over stimulating I feel like I can relax or be more present with the kids and I’m in a better mood and when I have to pick up after him it makes me resent him. He just tells me not to worry about it and my standards are higher than everyone else’s. And if he does do something to help he needs praise for it. Like wow you did the laundry! Good job! And then he expects to get laid too. Because told me he doesn’t feel motivated to do things around the house unless I show appreciation for it. Because why else would he do it? I said ummm because you’re an adult?????

I’m fucking sick of it. He criticized me for getting the kids a Christmas present they don’t use. He said I should consult him before I buy stuff for them. I’m sorry? I was busy researching and buying ALL of their gifts AND the gifts for everyone else while you were watching YouTube. I’m always the one who packs everything for the kids whenever we leave the house. I bring the water bottles, the snacks. But if it’s the wrong snack he’s like “why’d you bring this snack they don’t like?”

What the fuck is this behavior and how can I get it through his head that if it doesn’t change, his world will fall apart.

Worried about snapping turtles

I spent a lot of time in the local creeks as a kid just messing around and I want to take my kids to some. For example some parts of the Brandywine creek are shallow enough for a kid to walk in but I’ve also seen snapping turtles in the more still, murky areas. Do they typically stay there? I wouldn’t take my kids into those areas but do I need to worry as much in the fast shallow areas? I swear I was in the woods and creeks so much as a kid and never gave a single thought to snapping turtles and ticks and now I’m afraid to take my kids outside.

Found antique pop-up cards in great grandads stuff. United States

I recently inherited a lot of things from the mid 1800’s to turn of the century and am wondering if you can tell me anything about these beautifully detailed pop-up cards. The pictures don’t do them justice! I didn’t see other markings on them, like a company. What should I do with them?

Looking for indoor or indoor or indoor/ourdoor historical places to visit or tour

Looking for places like the DuPont House in Longwood, Winterthur, The Mill at Anselma. Basically historical home tours but doesn’t have to be a home (can be a Mill or museum or gallery). Also interested in any historical home tours or the like. I’m just into local history but not really battlefields. Also let me know of places that just give historical vibes like Baldwins book barn.

Looking for a peaceful place to get some work done this week. I’d love a cafe that’s in a quiet area with some nature.

Lincoln University area?

Moving to the Chester County area and am considering Lincoln University because I noticed the houses are more affordable. What should I take into consideration as far as that area goes?
