If they DID get Adam Sandler back, where would you guys think this would’ve ranked among his filmography

To be honest, It would be lower than Hotel Transylvania 3 for sure but higher than Grown Ups 2.

What movie are y’all excited for James to talk about in the upcoming Jim Carrey ranking? I’ll start:

I’m also interested to see how he will sort out the 5/10s

Kinda love how he chose to watch Mooned and not Migration. Like I obviously don’t want to annoy him but the fact he watched a short over a movie some of y’all probably recommended to him heavily in 2024 is hysterical.

I’m kinda happy to still see the cast make these movies. Making a goofy movie with them having fun is better than trying to make a masterwork of cinema and getting mad in between production.

If taking this statement, which animation studio would be the closest to Jim Carrey

Also I think it’s Sony who’s really the Sandler of animation. They make masterpieces but supreme trash as well.

Some cool movie ranking ideas (Animation, Director, and Actor)

ANIMATION

  1. Every Sony Villain Ranked - Considering we had three of these, I think Sony is the best studio to do next. As just like their filmography, they have an extremely amazing and terrible lineup of villains. On the one hand, you got great villains like PAL, Tank Evans, and every main Spiderverse villain. On the other hand, you got some garbage contenders like Doug, Fifi, Smiler, and to some extent Surf’s Up 2 (what? They were the villain in Schaffrillas Sandwich 6.) Overall, I think a Sony Villain ranking would be interesting and worth to hype.

DIRECTOR

  1. Every Safdie Movie Ranked- Yes, I mean all of them. Not only their directing movies, but also with Benny’s acting roles making up a total of 16 movies. You can watch a recent post about it in my profile.

ACTOR

  1. Every Keanu Reeves Movie Ranked - What if instead of having another ranking dedicated to an actor mostly known for comedy like Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey, we change the pace a bit to an actor with action and consistently dramatic roles? Bring on Keanu Reeves. In my opinion, there is no comedy actor on the same level of popularity and an interesting filmography as Sandler and Carrey. Sure there’s some good choices like Steve Carrell and Will Ferrell, but their filmographies aren’t as big as the former two. So the best choice for a different type of actor ranking in my opinion would be Keanu Reeves. Plus, John Wick himself has over 52 movies where he’s a main or supporting character as I counted one day. Overall, after the comedy of Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey I think action and drama of Keanu Reeves would be great and interesting to witness.

To summarize, we probably should have these rankings due to their interesting catalogues, worthy of hype, and change of pace from each of their respective ranking categories.

Considering all the stuff that has happened in the subreddit what was the worst year to be present

Here’s the six main factors

- Frequent requests (especially mainstream animation): We all should know this at this point. Some pieces of media have gotten banned form being mentioned, thanks guys…

- Parrot James’ opinions: Some of the fans for some inexplicable reason say something like “Schindler’s List is so peak!!!” despite never watching it in their life. Don’t get me wrong for some people like me, instead of parroting his opinion they would say: “Hey this movie sounds interesting” even without James’ opinions. But like, even he and his editors know about it according to the MK8 Deluxe ranking.

- Misinterpret points: Some fans misinterpret some of James’ points in extremely frustrating ways. Don’t get me wrong everybody makes mistakes, like some of my early posts in this subreddit are brutal. But it also comes to show that some fans kinda have to know a bit more and not misinterpret James’ points, or else it would lead to frustration on his part. This also ties up nicely to

- Rio 2: Where do I even start? Some people in 2022 were seriously hating on James for saying Rio 2 was mid, are you kidding me. Like I know I just said fans parrot their opinions, but this is the complete opposite of it in the worst way imaginable. I genuinely can’t believe this even happened. It also completely misinterpreted James’ points because he thought the movie was mid, not good and or bad. So considering the movie was a mid movie in James’s opinion and the movie as a whole isn’t universally beloved or hated is just infuriating.

- Repetitive jokes: There are times were memes and jokes become so overused they don’t become funny anymore, at it can get to not only James’ patience but also for his editors and a lot of his fans. If you make a joke, that’s great but don’t overuse it.

- Opposing others: I genuinely can’t stand this one. Yeah don’t get me wrong some fans can make dumb mistakes but for the love of God, don’t attack them! Like for example: A fan who likes mainstream animation says something like idk “Hey what if James reviews TMNT: Mutant Mayhem!” and another fan could say: “Dude, how old are you.” in a very negative way. Like yeah I get it the mainstream animation thing sucks but they don’t have to oppose them. If someone like that says something like that and think they are mature and cool, I’m sorry but that is immature and corny instead. Hell, look tab this final post I found about hating James. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU COMMENT THIS???!!!

So. With all that out of the way, which year and or month was the worst.
