Bought My First Legion – What to Check?

Hi everyone,
I just ordered my first gaming laptop(also my first laptop ), a Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 10 (RTX 5060) Ryzen 7 260 ,16gb ips panel variant and it’s also the first laptop I’ve ever bought online instead of from an offline store.
I’m really excited, but also a bit nervous because I want to make sure the unit I receive is perfect and doesn’t have any defects, missing components, or performance issues.
I’d really appreciate your advice on a couple of things:
What should I check as soon as the laptop arrives? Both physical inspection and software checks. Are there any tools or benchmarks I should run to verify that the CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, display, battery, and thermals are all performing as expected?
What are some beginner tips for taking care of a gaming laptop? I don’t game a lot, but I do plan to play occasionally. I’d like this laptop to last as long as possible, so I’d appreciate any advice on good habits, things to avoid, battery settings, cooling, cleaning, updates, or anything else that can help with long-term reliability.
This is my first gaming laptop, so I want to start off the right way. Any suggestions or a checklist from experienced users would be greatly appreciated.

I come from a small town where there was a burger vendor whose ₹70 veg burger was genuinely addictive ,loaded with sauces and a simple patty, but so good that I kept wanting it again and again.

After moving to IIT Delhi, I expected something even better. I shortlisted a few popular places: AKU (near Vasant Vihar, PVR Priya), Chards, and Louis Burger.

Today I tried AKU. I ordered their Bro G lamb burger for ₹300. Honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The presentation was basic, almost like a regular fast-food burger. Taste-wise, it was okay—not bad, but not memorable either. I didn’t feel like ordering it again, or wanting to eat more of it ,which is usually my benchmark for a great burger.

For context, I mostly eat vegetarian but I’m open to trying non-veg. Still, this one didn’t leave a strong impression. This is just my personal experience—others might feel differently—but I wouldn’t specifically recommend the Bro G burger.

I might try one or two more items there, but after that I’ll probably explore places like Chards or Louis Burger.

If you have burger recommendations—veg or non-veg—that are truly worth repeating, share them.
