Looking for places to meet people into that kind of scene. I remember talking to a guy at Kellergeist putting up hand made flyers a few months ago for some event. Any recommendations for bands, events, bars or such would be appreciated.
I made a few maps for the Nordland centered campaign I'm in that my friend is running a while back. I made one for Beeckerhoven and wanted to post this in case anyone else would get any use out of it.
Just a few days ago I lost every single in person friend I have because they were all so interconnected. I want someone from an outside perspective to talk to about this. I have clinical help being scheduled but I won't hear from anyone for hours.
Me and my girlfriend have been renting a house with two other people. One of them is a friend I have known for a while, and another is a more casual acquaintance. Before moving in it was planned for me and my girlfriend to eventually move out when we had the chance to go to a larger city. After living here for a bit over a year, we have a few opportunities to move out of state like we planned all become available within the past few weeks, and while flexible they do have all have varying cut offs around the end of the year (One friend buying a house and will be renting it to whichever of our friends is able to lock in moving out there, another pair of friends are wanting to move to the same place when their lease is up in their city in January and need to get a place by then). After some deliberation with my girlfriend and making sure this is truly what we wanted we decided to let our room mates know we plan to move out before these options vanish.
However, our lease is up on July 31st and when I spoke with them yesterday I also mentioned that I would be open to seeing about signing a shorter lease or a month to month lease since currently our renewal period would have us stuck here until the end of next spring. My room mate that is the friend of mine told me they will not sign a shorter lease and have asked us to sign it when the time comes and try and find someone when it is time to move out if we can't find a replacement by the end of July, but we are not sure if we can. The place we're staying at has been very good about letting people leave the lease early as long as the people there can afford rent but it isn't a risk I want to take.
They've told me that they feel like they're being screwed over with this being sudden notice, but they have 2 1/2 months to either find someone else or move. I really don't want to have to make them move but I also would have to move out eventually and don't know what else I could have done here. Any advice on what I should do? I don't want to mess up anyone's situation and I'm worried they're not going to take it seriously that I will not be staying unless someone for sure signs on the lease instead for us. Sorry if this is a bit rambly I'm on lunch and slamming this out so I can eat.
