Anyone else doing powerlines for aesthetic reasons?
I have power lines running throughout my base because I thought it would be funny. Actually looks pretty cool now that everything runs off these.

Just moved here need the hookup on the best pizza and sub shops in town that deliver.
Will I be losing a ton of coverage if it's on the baseboard instead of near the top of the wall or ceiling? Also, will the rooms behind it instead of in front of it have issues?
Does direct tv streaming allow us to upgrade to the ad free tier yet? If not I won't be renting the Gemini box.
I will have my modem and router in living room then drop down to the basement where I will have a 16 port poe switch that will run back up to the living room for tv and gaming consoles and then also run another line up to my office for my work computer and gaming/personal computer.
I will also have a mesh network setup on the second floor and in the back yard. Second floor still deciding on if I want to wire the mesh network or just use WiFi. Backyard will be WiFi and solar powered.
There will be 4 adults and 1 toddler. So second floor will likely have 3 tvs running on WiFi and a baby monitor. 1st floor has already been described, and then a theater and hobby room in basement.
So far I have the modem and router and a 16 port patch panel. The 16 port switch is coming, it's a tp-link with half the ports being poe, which I will save for mesh networks and cameras.
My two main questions are do I need anything else besides the switch and panel for a home network? And, should I avoid using switches in the living room and office because of bottlenecks or at 1 gig speed does that not really matter?
Also, if there are any resources like diagrams or posts I should look at I would appreciate that very much.
