Hey everyone, first post here.

I finished an 18 day prednisone course about a week ago and instead of calming down I got hit with the worst rebound flare I've ever had. Hives everywhere, plaques spreading, angioedema in my face and lips a couple times. It's been getting worse almost every day since Wednesday.

Antihistamines aren't touching it anymore even doubled up. Cortisone cream on the hives does nothing either. I can't reach my doctor until Monday and I'm just hoping he finally prescribes Xolair once I do, but until then I have literally nothing that works.

Has anyone found something else that actually helped during a bad stretch like this while waiting on a prescription? Just trying to get through the next couple days.
