Any one used flamezy.shop??
Has anyone used this site? Seems too good to be true but I can't find any definitive evidence against. Just that it's "probably" not a scam. Worth using a credit card and claiming back if it goes wrong?

Just got my first bill from edf and I wasn't expecting it to show my day by day, hour by hour energy usage! I'm just viewing it in the app at the moment but wondering if anyone does anything useful with the data? Thinking I could extract it and collate it to get a mega in-depth deep dive of my energy usage.
Keter unity XL with stainless steel work top. Should hopefully give me some actual workspace beyond these little kamado "Wings". I Might just take them off actually
Will be nice to store all the bbq bits beside the bbq for once.
Hi all, apologies if this isn't the right forum but I thought there would be some knowledgeable people in here. Basically as it says. had a new hot water cylinder fitted 3 weeks ago(to accomodate an ashp if that makes a difference). Just got round to getting some shelving in the airing cupboard and noticed, what i would consider to be a pretty significant bulge. It's at the top maybe 3/4 up, I'm assuming it's not normal and shouldn't be there?? I've turned off the hot water, but not drained the tank or anything. We've had a few showers today so it should be below that level i would imagine.
Doing an overnight pulled pork. Got a new sonoff bbq thermometer to try as well so excited for that!
Has anyone here had their gas meter removed successfully?
My own fault, I didn't realise you had to have it removed to stop the standing charge. I assumed I could just not have a gas account as I can't use it anymore now my boiler is gone.
Been a bit of a nightmare trying to get it sorted. E.on were going to charge me £180, edf said they'd do it at no cost. Now edf are telling me they don't have enough smart meter data to book an appointment and they can't come out anyway until my meter has been "de-energised".
I'm in Wiltshire if anyone has any tips!!
Installed last week during the heatwave. Obviously suncream is important for protection especially when on a roof, but now it's all over my panels. Should the company be cleaning this off? It's very noticeable from the ground and looks absolutely terrible. It's hard to get it all in one photo due to the light, but every panel looks like that, or worse.
As above. After having solar fitted my current draw seems to just creep up and up all day. I've gone round and turned everything off, made sure the immersion is off etc. but it still continued to climb. Seems to sit just slightly higher than my solar production all day.
Hi all, just had my solar turned on yesterday all seems to be going fine apart from I can't get the battery to power the house in the evenings. Anytime I try and set a schedule I get this warning. I'm pretty tech savvy but I cannot figure this app out!
Hi all,
As above just had the solar switched on. I've been waiting today to put the washing machine and dishwasher on and charge the car.
Now even with the solar currently generating 3.6kwh my smart meter has gone crazy. Even with those three devices running it shouldn't be reading that high??
Any advice for a total solar noob welcome!!
Can't wait for the panels to go on and switch it all on tomorrow!
Monday - plumber came and took the boiler out
Tuesday - engineer went to No. 2, we are No. 1. No one answered so he went home. I'd have thought the only house on the street covered in scaffolding (we are getting solar panels from the same company) and a boiler on the drive would have been a big clue.
Wednesday - Plumber spent all day plumbing in the new 280lt hot water cylinder only for it to crack and split when he started filling it. Apparently a manufacturer default. Been told there is a national shortage so not sure if we're going to be able to get a cylinder in this week now or not.
Thursday - Let's see what happens!
Scaffolders were due tomorrow but apparently they managed to come early and no one let me know. Now we can't open the garage door. Fitting the battery and inverter etc going to be fun.
Hi all, getting my ashp fitted this week. Engineer is currently here removing the boiler and fitting the outside pipe work. When he looked in the loft he mentioned it might be possible to move the new cylinder (250lt) into the loft. The potential promise of a brand new storage cupboard has obviously convinced my wife this needs to happen.
Is this sensible / even doable? Has anyone else done it?
We have had the loft floored with those loft zone metal rubbers and chip board. Apparently the legs are rated to 500-680kg each which I assume would be well within tolerance.
Part of me doesn't like the idea of a 250kg weight sitting in the loft, but what's the difference between putting it there and leaving it on the second floor?
Due to have my solar installed next week (very excited) however I have just received this email. Last thing on a Friday is ringing some alarm bells. They are claiming the new panels are more efficient and cheaper and have a better warranty (30yr vs 25). I have no idea, but there's not much I can do now. Any solar experts able to shed some light?
Thanks!
Hi all, I'm waiting for my heat pump installation (6 July) and very exited. Obviously I've been watching way too much YouTube trying to prepare and learn all I can in terms of optimisation etc. I see a lot of YouTubers seem to add these shelly monitors on installation, are they worth it for a regular person or just so they can pull extra data for content. I'm getting a midea ashp if that makes any difference, not sure what app functionality or anything it comes with as standard.
Hi all, been looking at solar et al for a while and decided may as well go big or go home.
I'm getting 17x 500w panels, 12kwh battery, ashp and swapping to a hybrid next month. (Wiltshire area)
There do seem to be some issues, mainly that apparently my combination of a Mazda XC60 Hybrid and Fox 7kwh aren't supported by intelligent octopus go (it doesn't say why). I can't really compromise on the car as I need to tow a caravan and this is the only reasonably priced hybrid with a decent towing capacity I could find. I have pushed hard for an EV thinking that would open up a host of cheaper EV tarrifs allowing me to charge my battery at the same time.
Is anyone else in the same boat? Any advice on tarrifs? It seems that every time I think I'm sorted, a conflicting piece of information crops up and I'm back to square one.
Thanks!
Just seen the prices for eagles Jags at Tottenham. The colts commanders game is around £40-50 cheaper for each category too.
Hi all after a bit of advice. Checked out sunsave and project solar (amongst others) however found them to be quite pushy and expensive.
Did a bit of research here and decided on the majority of advice to investigate a local installer; Wiltshire energy. They've just done a very professional looking install next door and the chap popped over for a quick chat and was very knowledgeable and down to earth. Not pushy or "salesman" in the slightest.
This now seems ridiculously cheap in comparison. I think my head is melted a bit from so many conflicting quotes! Any advice would be greatly received.
Thanks!
