I want to get ahead on the Nuke Program before I leave for the Navy, any recomendations?

I leave for the Navy in February, I'm trying to get ahead of the game by studying all that I can related to the Navy Nuke Program/course. If anyone has any recommendations for study materials, video essays, or studying tips, that would be great.

I have a burning question/theory...

What happened to those Imperial Royal Guards that tried to kill Ezra? Those aren't just stormtroopers with crappy armor, they are the most elite and well trained agents of the Emperor himself. Their armor is made of Impervium (at least in legends I think) which is excellent at absorbing kenetic and shock damage. Their training was probably more brutal than that of the death troopers, and they are so well trained, even one of them is enough to turn the tide of a battle with their sheer skill.

I kinda refuse to believe that Ezra throwing some rocks at them would be enough to kill ALL of them. Like maybe one gets unlucky, but they are highly trained and built to survive. There's no way they ALL died, especially with all the medical technology we see in star wars, Jedi with regular robes have been crushed by ships and survived just fine. The issue is we never see them in Ahsoka, they aren't at that rally, presumably if they had no way of contacting the Emperor and they were assigned to Thrawn, he would have command over them for that duration.

I'm just wondering or I guess speculating if we're gonna see their appearance in season 2 of Ahsoka, what do you think?

Ok I SWEAR I'm going Crazy, but why can't I pogo

Every time I've tried to pogo, there is ZERO power behind it. I've tried adjusting my angle, my launch speed, and my power. Hell, I've even tried to launch on different hammer angles; NOTHING works. I'm getting constant 3 inch verticles behind it with no power or ability to get up. Am I crazy, and am I doing something wrong? Someone, please help.

BUFF Cav's silent step!

I know half this community has an opinion against Cav for one reason or another, but common sense should stand here. Silent Step is by far one of the most nerfed and also useless abilities, especially in higher ranked lobies.

Silent Step USED to actually inspire a sense of fear or dread in the enemy; it made them wonder if they actually heard something or if it was their own footsteps. Nowadays, it is the most pathetic excuse for a main ability, it's "silent" step, muffled at best, practically regular noise at worst.

All I'm saying is this: I know people don't like to deal with Cav, but she is still an operator, and Siege should NOT be constantly trashing on her abilities, make silent step, silent! She is the only operator with the ability to be quiet, and Siege decided that her main ability should just NOT function.

If you think I'm wrong, feel free to tell me why, but if you're gonna just deny it, then like... ok bro.

Cool Game Idea for Siege

Cav Night Hunt:

The game is basically a game of manhunt in house at night. There is one hunter (Forced Cav) and 5 hiders (forced Oryx). All hiders have all combat disabled, no guns, no mele, except for 2 Oryx Dashes. The seeker will have no guns, only mele, meaning they have to either knock or kill the hiders up close.

Cav will have 25 seconds of Silent Step compared to just 15 and silent step let's her see in the dark environment.

Oryx hiders will have 2 Orxy Dash abilities which can be used to make a quick escape or to push the Cav away before running.

The game starts with each Orxy being given 15 seconds to hide and then Cav is released. Cav has 1 and a half minutes to find and kill all the targets. Cav can either kill the Oryx regularly or perform an interrogation (she is limited to one) which reveals the hiders locations for 10 seconds.

For every kill Cav gets 15 seconds are added onto the timer, if she gets an interrogation she is given 25 seconds added on.

Upon the timer reaching 15 seconds for the first time every hider is red pinged revealing their locations. If there is one hider remaining they are red pinged revealing their location. The game ends when either Cav has killed the last person or if the timer runs out.

I think this makes fun use of an under-used map and takes us away from the often overused tower map for these kind of special events. It also uses two operators abilities that are just fun?

Thoughts on this, would it be kinda cool or nah?

NOTE: I tried to make this different than Doktor's Curse, I hope I did a decent job.

I'm sick and tired of hearing these excuses for not updating an operator.

I like Cav, if you click on my profile you'll see that about half my posts are about her. Now I won't deny she used to be VERY OP, like she could ace an entire enemy team with a hand tied behind her back. But times HAVE changed.

Now the old reason why people would oppose Cav buffs is usually because of this:

"Cav is good when someone good uses her"

To which I say; NO SHIT! ANY operator is good if they're used by someone good at the game! Any operator is good if used against someone bad in the game. As much as it would be a hilarious prank, Ubisoft isn't exactly making ENTIRELY useless operators. (except OG sens, that was useless)

Another common reason I hear for opposing Cav buffs is this

"Oh well Cav is a high risk high reward operator, if you make her easier to use she only becomes more broken"

And you're right, or you were, like 3 years ago. Before the arrival of Deimos, you only really had 2 operators you really needed to look out for, Lion and Jackal (And Dokkaebi but not nearly as much as you have to now)

If droned correctly and coordination was used or you counterflanked her she could be taken out with EFFORT. Think if it like a roulette wheel, you place your bets on 1/4th of the numbers and spin, you have a 1/4 chance of winning, high risk, but also high rewards. It's basically flip two coins, if both are heads you get the jackpot. Which yes I will admit was SUPER busted, a 99 damage pistol and you can't hear her in the slightest, VERY OP.

Now you have 5 operators practically designed to RUIN the Cav experience; Lion, Dokkaibi, Deimos, Snake, and Jackal. Now because Caveira now has 15 seconds on that silent step if she wants to avoid Jackal she has a bit more leeway. But back to that roulette wheel, you only got enough money to bet on one number, so looks like you're shit out of luck. Now, you might be saying "Well if I just avoid getting scanned SURELY I won't have to deal with these operators" and oh my silly little friend, how wrong you are. In all likelihood if the enemy team thinks theres a roamer and they haven't seen the funny vigil lines, they will assume Cav or Solis or some other roamer, then it's just a matter of which counter do you bring and spam on the roamer if they get a kill, or more likely get droned out. People have been playing this game for a decade, about 5 years in you tend to learn all the good roamer hiding spots.

We have turned that flip a coin twice, if both are heads you hit the jackpot into a, flip a coin 10 times, if all are heads roll a 6 sided die, if you roll a 6, pick a random chip out of a bag, if it's red you get a kill, blue you get an interrogation, and yellow you're spotted by a drone and hard targetted.

Now I also hear that persistent voice in the back who keeps shouting at the top of their lungs, "Cav and all roamers are meant to waste time, not to inherently get kills and win the game"

And this is ALSO true, but any roamer worth their weight in salt should be able to transition back into site and work effectively. Unfortunately Cav doesn't eat an American salt filled diet and happens to have the worst SMG and worst Shotgun, and worst damage drop-off for a pistol that has no sights. But fine, let's say she stays off site and runs scare tactics on enemies, if she gets a kill, she's gonna get hard targetted by Dokkaebi, Deimos, or gods forbid both at once. If multiple anti-roamers hard target you at the same time you run into the classic dilemma of, do you stop and turn off your phone to die instantly, or keep running and die slowly as deimos closes in on you while telling the rest of his team where you are.

A lot of these reasons can apply to so many operators and they are ALL the same BS arguments that are being used to justify ignoring operators people don't wanna deal with, after all, why learn to fight a Cav if you can keep her nerfed into the ground? Why give Nøkk the chance to be stealthy if you can just let the current meta of press button to win persist? Why give Zero any buffs when "he already has a good gun, why does he need more?"

TLDR: If you're gonna make arguments to not buff operators at least be creative about it, stop copying each other's homework.

If you were to make a list for operators that need to be reworked or heavily changed, what would they be?

For me personally it would go these for my top 5-

  1. Cav (I'm bias but she needs something)

  2. Sam Fisher (literally anything dude)

  3. IQ (outdated)

  4. Nøkk (rip the silent step days)

  5. Alibi

This is entirely opinion based, but I wanna know other people's ideas.

If each operator had their own unique knife what would it be?

GSAC gives rainbow more funding, and rather than better pay for the operational staff, the team leads let each operator get their own custom knife, what are each of them using?

Obviously:

Zero- Karambit

Azami- Kunai

Lion- Big ass sword

But I also think that

Nøkk would use some knife styled like royalty.

Caveira would use a butterfly knife

Jackal would use bronze knuckles with like stabbing things on them

Aruni would use her fist

Skopos adds in a retractable knife (basically the assassins creed one) onto both her shells.

Any other thoughts on what each operator would use?

Can we get HARSHER punishments for people who abandon game round ONE!

I am, honest to God, tired of this. Ubisoft should institute MUCH harsher punishments for people who leave ranked games and abandon their teammates, especially on round one. I'm talking like:

Double the RP loss if your team loses and none if your team wins.

30-minute suspension from play that only takes place when the game is open

Higher reputation loss if your team loses

And if done repeatedly, suspension from ranked for up to a week

I am beginning to see what VarsityGaming meant when he said the removal of match cancellations was a good thing. Thoughts?
