Which tab is better for beginner designer?

I m a beginner artist and designer and I need a better tab in less money.

My issue is whether i should get ipad or stick to android because good softwares like photoshop and procreate are only available in ipads and not in android but ipads are costly than androids.

So should i invest in ipad for better learning or get an android one which is better for beginner artist??

Kindly spread this message more across all platforms so the victims of this malpractice get justice.

(Sorry had to delete the previous one to edit out my friend's name)

This is a serious issue and a message that needs to be spread out loud, that the faculties are even taking it utterly seriously.

Kindly spread this message as far as you can so the victims get their justice, they're after all your future peers.

This is not a rant about parents but my situation and how unforgiving colleges like mitid can be.

When i got my message of shortlist I was over the moon and then I got the date of 4/5/26, I sent them email saying if my date can be postponed to 6 because I live in Lucknow and instant flight to Pune are extremely expensive.

They moved it to 5 (might as well have not moved it at all), we tried planning as much as we could. Both my parents are working, they can't take leave out of the blue especially in such a short period of time, so we decided I'll go with my older sister.

The plan was that we'll take a flight to navi mumbai then stay a night at their lounge, leave for Pune early in morning to be there by at least 8, Come back to Mumbai as our returning flight was on 6/5/26. (We were going to stay at a place we booked near airport till then)

Surprise surprise there's no friggin lounge in Mumbai's airport, so we think, ykw, let's just stay at the place we booked for our stay till return.

BOOM that place we booked for our stay? That's in friggin saki naka😭 that is not in Navi Mumbai. If I want to reach Pune to give this friggin paper staying at this place is a no go.

Explanation how we didn't realise that place is so friggin far :

so, we are not from Mumbai, never been to Mumbai until today.

There are two airports in Mumbai both with same name😭😭 one works and one doesn't.

So the place we booked was close to the airport that didn't work and way fucking far from Navi Mumbai's airport. (We got lectured good by the cab driver....it was so humiliating...)

So, we come back to airport because.... honestly we are just two kids in a foreign city.

So by no surprise the airport uncle didn't let us in either......we are sitting outside of airport and it's 01:38am in night here and i m contemplating if i even want to give studio test now or not....

(My helplessness is that this is the only good college i have chance in other than BITS)

So I'm currently reading the design of everyday things by don norman, so far it's been very informative (only read the first chapter since I'm trying to actually introspect each chapter each day)

I want to become a concept designer maybe a storyteller, like- write my own comic someday in the future but I can't seem to find the place for this niche in design.

Maybe I'm coming from the place of ignorance since it's quite literally my first ever book on Design and even in there I've only just read one chapter, but so far I've only ever seen this niche to be associated only with art but not design.

I get that concept art and visual communication in itself is 80- if not 90% art and How well you draw but if there are any professional designers here–

how is design incorporated in the world of concept art and storytelling?

If it is incorporated in it, how so? Can you give me some examples?

(I have an upcoming college interview. It would help me out a lot if you can answer this ^^)

I tried water fasting. It ended with me crashing out eating chocolate croissant, noodles and Oreo ice cream after 16 hours fasting.

I can't avoid exercise, as an overweight girl it's extremely hard to be anywhere without feeling like I'm a giant dinosaur sitting amongst actual human beings.

Respect to those that do water fasting for prolonged periods i couldn't even do it for one day.
