I’ve built a construction SaaS to help find subcontractors and tender opportunities – looking for QS feedback

I work in construction procurement/plant and one of the biggest time-consuming parts of the job is finding the right subcontractors, checking companies individually and keeping on top of new opportunities.
Because of that, I’ve been building BuildPilot AI, a construction-specific platform designed to make that process much easier.
It currently includes:
Subcontractor and contractor discovery by trade and location
AI-assisted company prospecting
Tender opportunities
A construction work/job feed
Contractor profiles and reviews
Tools aimed at reducing manual searching and admin
The initial focus is smaller subcontractors and construction businesses that don’t have dedicated estimating or business development teams, but I’m also interested in how useful something like this could be from a QS/commercial perspective.
I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from people working in quantity surveying:
What would you actually want a platform like this to do for you?
Would things like searching subcontractors by trade/location, building tender lists, tracking enquiries, comparing companies or finding new tender opportunities be useful in your day-to-day role?
Happy to share the site with anyone who wants to take a look. I’m mainly looking for genuine industry feedback while I continue developing it.

Built an Excel toolkit for construction businesses – looking for honest feedback

Hi everyone,
I’ve spent the last few weeks building a collection of Excel tools for construction businesses after working in procurement for several years.
The idea came from seeing how many companies still manage purchase orders, supplier information and project costs with scattered spreadsheets or paperwork.
So far I’ve built tools for things like:
Purchase Order Tracking
Supplier Management
Material Cost Tracking
Site Administration
Procurement Dashboards
I’m not looking to sell anything here—I genuinely want feedback from people who work in construction.
If you run a construction business or work in the industry:
What admin task wastes the most time?
What spreadsheet do you wish already existed?
What would actually make your day easier?
I’d love to build tools that solve real problems rather than guessing what people need.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Anyone else fed up of building the same spreadsheets from scratch on every new project?

I work in construction procurement and got tired of it, so I spent some time building a proper set of Excel templates — site diary, RAMS, snag list, variation log, toolbox talk, prelims breakdown, subcontractor rate card and more.

Listed them on Etsy if anyone wants to grab them rather than build their own. All instant download, £5.99–£11.99 each.

Happy to answer any questions about what’s in them.
