A few weeks ago I posted here asking for advice on where to buy a 10 marla plot in Lahore. A lot of people recommended DHA Prism (Phase 9), so I went to visit the site.

After looking around, I realized that only a few blocks are actually suitable if you're planning to build a house, and those plots have become really expensive. My budget was around PKR 1.5 crore, but the good-location plots are now starting from 1.85–2+ crore, which is beyond my budget.

So now I'm considering Etihad Town Phase 2 instead.

My plan is to build a house within the next 5 years. Is Etihad Town Phase 2 a good option for that timeline? If yes, which block would you recommend and why?

I'm getting offers for a 10 marla plot around PKR 90 lakh in Etihad Town Phase 2. With the remaining budget, I'm thinking of buying a DHA Phase 10 file as an investment.

Does this sound like a good strategy, or would you suggest putting the entire budget into one society instead?

I'd really appreciate advice from people who have invested in either Etihad Town Phase 2 or DHA Phase 10. Thanks!

Hey guys, I have a wagon R 2022 model and I want to change its tyres. My usage is very low, i only drive it 4-5 times in a month, maybe 100-150km in the whole month. Can you please suggest which company tyres should i buy and size of it?

I dont want to go super expensive coz I am planning to sell the car at the end of next year probably. But i also dont want to compromise on quality as budget is not an issue for me rn. 🙏

Hey everyone, my family and I are planning to buy a 10 marla plot in Lahore, but honestly we're super confused about where to invest.

We've talked to a bunch of dealers and looked into different societies online, but everyone recommends something different, so it's getting hard to decide. Since this is our hard-earned money, we really don't want to make the wrong choice.

Our budget is around 1.5 crore, and we're looking for a 10 marla residential plot. We'd prefer a society that's safe, has good future appreciation, and ideally isn't full of scams or legal issues.

If you were in our position, where would you buy? 🙏

I don't understand why Pakistani families are so obsessed with the caste system.

We belong to a Jutt family and have been looking for a rishta for about the last 1 year. We got a few really good marriage proposals but didn't proceed with them just because my father isn't agreeing to marriage outside our caste.

The funny thing is, I don't have any issue marrying outside the caste. The only reason he gives is, "What will the family say?" lol.

Has anyone else experienced this? I just find it hard to believe that in 2026, caste is still such a deciding factor for so many families lol.

A.o.a, I recently installed a 1.5 ton Haier AC lile 2 days ago.

And today at 3.30pm i saw that my solar has started consuming battery power. Is it Normal?

My system is 8kw goodwe invertor, with 12 longi x10 645w pannels. The reason i installed this systems is to run TWO 1.5 ton Ac's until 5pm, but right now even with only 1 ac installed i was shocked to see the energy cosumption.

Can someone guide is it normal or something is fishy?
