One of my OCs is a daughter of Hecate named Salem Le Fay, (yes as in the Salem witch trials, you can't say Hecate wouldn't do that to acknowledge what happened) evidently dogs and hell hounds are considered sacred to Hecate, she's even known as the mother of hounds. So should I make Salem's familiar a hell hound? Admittedly it'd probably scare a few demigods but it sounds like a plausible (and pretty cool) idea.

Salina Gaunt and the philosopher's stone chapter 1: the Gaunt girl

An owl was flying through Britain towards the ministry of magic, an envelope wrapped around its leg. Locals had concerns about a building that was supposed to be abandoned. Strange sounds like a child crying, people screaming, and even small explosions could be heard from it and frequently people would be seen entering but nobody saw them walk out. The brown bird landed In front of a heavily scared wizard with a bionic blue eye and a wooden leg. He took the envelope from the bird's leg and opened it as the owl flew away. ‘to the department of magical law enforcement, I'm contacting you regarding the building at 1800 Roman Avenue. The previous residents passed away several years ago and it was thought to be abandoned, but there have been strange sounds coming from within its walls, when you have the time, please investigate it'. “It’s probably ghosts or superstition though it is possible it's a death eater. Maybe even the Gaunts.” he stood up from his office and went to get the other aurors walking with a limp from his wooden leg

“Everyone! We've been alerted to suspicious activity on Roman Avenue, let's get going."  he called out to them, and the aurors started walking out of the ministry. Mad eye walked towards a tall bald black man and spoke quietly so the other aurors wouldn't hear him.

“Might want to get the order in on this, if it isn't the previous owners' ghosts sticking around its probably death eaters that weren't brought to Azkaban after you know who was defeated.”  Kingsley nodded. His voice sounded deep and reassuring.  “Understood, I'll make sure we have backup.” Moody nodded and kept walking, the other aurors either didn't notice or didn't care when Kingsley started going in a different direction. The aurors got on brooms and started flying through the clouds and they eventually landed at Roman avenue. The order of the Phoenix was already there, and it seemed like they already restrained the two death eaters, Matthew and Lilith gaunt.A witch with bluish purple hair and brown eyes could be seen holding a little girl about two or three years old. Her hair was as black as a raven’s feathers, with the exception of a group of white hair on the left of her face. She was in an off-white dress that looked worryingly like a sack. Her left arm seemed to have a tattoo of a skull with a serpent tongue. The man, Matthew Gaunt had brown hair and eyes as green as jade gemstones, and the woman had jet black hair and brown eyes that looked dark enough to be black. They were both tied in rope and a tall wizard with light brown hair, and scars on his face was holding their wands. “Good to see you took care of them, looks like I was right, it’s the Gaunt family” said Moody before noticing the child Tonks was holding and approaching her “Never thought I'd see you looking so motherly, you usually act all laid back and rebellious. Who's the kid?”Nymphadora sent him a glare from the corner of her eyes.

“First off make fun of me for ‘looking motherly’ again and I'll get rid of your good eye, secondly this is Salina apparently, she’s their daughter. I'm not proud to admit that Rubeus had to hold me back from attempting to murder the parents when I found her sitting in a cot completely silent because she was under the imperious cur-”  She turned around to see a silver tabby cat sitting on the staircase. “it’s impolite to eavesdrop Minerva.” The queen cat jumped down from the stair and turned into a tall woman with dark hair pulled into a tight bun. “Yes, I suppose I know that the child can't exactly spend the next 8 years until she goes to Hogwarts in Azkaban, give her here I'll bring her to the closest orphanage”Tonks gave Salina over to Minerva and she apparated away

My character is a 50 year old wood elf druid, and since I'm pretty sure wood elves can live up to 750 ish so I was given the title of 'the child' & told to make myself shorter (from 5 and a half feet to 3 feet) but according to Google that isn't quite how it works, so at what ages is a wood elf considered a child?

Effect: when the pack link is used the strength of the wielder and the allies is shared evenly, it can also help heal anyone injured by transferring the injury to the user

Wielder: Yang Fu (granddaughter/great granddaughter of Master Fu)

Hero name: Lupine

She also has less powerful abilities; enhanced night vision (similar to cat noir) enhanced smell (she can track her allies through their scent) and enhanced hearing, wolves naturally have pretty good senses

Anything I should change or do differently?

I'm about 1/5th into the mark of Athena but according to a couple Google searches the Kane Chronicles were intended to be read between the pjo and hoo books, so my question is; do I put heroes of Olympus on the back burner and read through the Kane Chronicles now or do I just keep reading the hoo? If it's important to be read for the story or the Percy Jackson world or if a lot of people like it I'll learn about Egyptian mythology and Read the pdf (I can't afford the physical books so a pdf or audiobook will have to do) but if it's not a priority I might just finish the hoo or at least the mark of Athena and read it after (apparently a good way to get this fandom to argue is to talk about the order of the books so let's see how many of y'all get out your pitchforks and torches for me reading this far in the Heroes of Olympus without glancing at the Kane Chronicles up until now/j)

I'm currently on the mark of Athena so I'm not sure if this is technically a spoiler in the later books but I figured it was cool; for a bit of context one of my Percy Jackson characters is named Lilith Swallow and is the/a daughter of >!Nyx!< (if you have an issue with me not adhearind to the set cabin binary of the books then in the words of uzi doorman "bite me!") and I just read on the Hellhound wiki that (in the context of the Riordanverse) hellhounds are somehow the offspring of >!Cerberus and Nyx!<... I don't know what to do with this information but I'm a little excited that I unintentionally made my character the 'biological' sibling to a schist ton of doggos

I'm writing fanfiction from the perspective of my Harry Potter original Character, Salina Gaunt, you can find it on AO3 or Wattpad (it should be the first thing to pop up when you search 'Salina Gaunt') I'm not very good at writing and it's my first time but I'd love if some of you all checked it out and gave me your opinion. If you have Any questions about Salina (as long as they don't spoil the story) put them in the comments and I'll be glad to answer.

The way Annabeth put it in chapter 11 of the battle of the labyrinth.

But does it HAVE to be a man? You can't tell me there aren't any lesbian female, or even non binary scientists in the riorverse, Who's to say Athena wouldn't have a 'meeting of the minds' with them? It's been stated that there's no >!sex!< involved in Athena conceiving a child. would this be possible? (#panAthena)
