CF Content Creators?

I’ve been buying primarily CF for years now, only owning a few cruelty-made items (old purchases, don’t wanna throw out). I make it a point to only support CF brands.

With that said, I’ve always been into watching makeup related videos and recently started getting a guilty feeling whenever I interact with a video where cruelty-made products are being showcase. Therefore, I want to push my support toward creators who are completely CF. Do you have any favorite creators? If so, please let me know!

I’m not into the whole “natural/minimal/clean girl” makeup style that is taking the makeup world by storm rn so suggestions for full glam artist or something similar would be great.

Favorite Charlotte Tilbury Alternatives?

After Charlotte Tilbury’s decision to opt out of Leaping Bunny’s re-certification program, I don’t feel comfortable purchasing anything from her anymore. I will still use the products I have but I will not repurchase.

Do you have any recommendations on what replaces her quality? Specifically the Airbrush Pressed Powder and the concealer? I heard mcobeauty regularly “dupes” her products but is the quality the same or are they just mimicking the packaging?

I don’t care for cheaper alternatives, but it would be nice lol!

The baby-est of baby pans

I got this at the end of February/beginning of March after an Ulta employee put it on me and fell in love with it! However, the pan and large(?) dip is a bit worrisome considering I’ve only had this product for ~3months. I use a powder puff to apply under my eyes to set my concealer or the Morphe x Ariel A14 brush for my entire face.

Is this considered an easy to pan product? Or am I being too heavy handed? I have never hit pan on a product so fact before (I’m 25 and been doing my makeup since I was 14).

Product:
Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Blurring & Setting Powder in shade 1.

Is there an easier way to interact with people?

I can typically hold a conversation really well. In fact, I have no issue starting and maintaining conversations as long as I feel I have control. However, I struggle immensely when people go “off script”.

I know it’s not a big deal but it makes me feel like the universe’s ugliest and dumbest idiot. I genuinely feel like a little gross freak that people are uncomfortable to be around. I end up playing the conversation over and over in my head to figure out what I could have done to help stir the conversation into something more comfortable.

I don’t know why this happens. I try my best to flow with the person I’m talking to but it doesn’t always work. This happens most in playful situations; I will play along in a way I assume would be best but I’m always meant with deadpanned faces stating that they were just joking. Like so was I? I don’t understand what makes my playfulness different than others. I don’t know how to mimic it perfectly to allow the conversation to flow naturally. I don’t even know if this is the right subreddit to be in.

OR sometimes I’ll read a situation completely wrong and assume they are being playful when they are actually serious. This usually gives me a more negative reaction. I cannot tell when people are being playful or when they are not. This is an issue with me online and in real life. I cannot escape this!

I’m tired of having to deal with this feelings and having to train and retrain myself to better socialize. How can I learn to socialize in a way that will make the people around me feel like they can converse with me?

TLDR; sometimes I read the room wrong and it makes me sad. How can I get better at this?

Edit: I’ll like to add that in moments when this happens I end up freezing up and usually go silent, which ruins the entire experience for everyone.
