I work for a large insurance company here in Canada and specialize in home insurance sales and service.

Over the last year or so, our rates have been going up and up with no end in sight. It’s become a daily conversation I have with clients who are inevitably, angry and frustrated with me over their home premiums. Although I explain inflation, increased reconstruction costs, extreme weather, and advise them to shop around for the best rate, it’s become very challenging having the same conversation over and over everyday. I’m struggling to feel fulfilled and enjoy my career at this point and am considering a switch, even if it means to a different area of my company. Anyone else feeling this way or have any tips?

We stayed at Panmure Island Provincial Park this weekend and it was my first time there since Fiona - it was sad to see how open the sites are now from damage to the trees :(

With that being said, does anyone know of campgrounds here that still have more private/secluded tent sites?

We live here and try to do a few camping trips on the island during the summer - I would love your suggestions!

Has anyone else’s bins been rejected over the last few weeks? Almost my entire neighbourhood this week and last had rejected tags - it’s getting a bit ridiculous considering mine was tagged today for having 1 piece of compost in the waste bin… I just take the tag off and the driver comes and collects it anyway but I feel like they’re really being too harsh

I recently re-ordered the TNA ankle socks, as they are my go to everyday socks. I wore a pair to work for the first time today and when I got home noticed one had a hole in the heel. What is up with the new quality of these? They’re absolutely garbage compared to the old pairs I have. Extremely disappointing!
