What's stopping the government from making the base salary for teachers higher?
Ang dami ko kasing nababasa na underpaid ang teaching profession, and I agree na it should be higher. So what's stopping the government from making their salary higher?

Are there any cons to this type of set up po? I'm gonna be a first time renter po for college and I like this set up po kasi may sariling area and hindi maghahalo halo yung gamit compared sa mga naka bunk beds. TYIA!
Theoretically, is it possible ba? I have sleeping problems kasi and sirang sira na body clock ko huhu. Ayaw ko rin mag sleeping pills kasi may cases daw na hindi na nagigising.
As the title asks, should I? For context I am now enrolled at a state university with my prio program. I also got accepted into 8 schools (including the big 3) but money is tight so I had to opt for the state u instead. Maybe you're thinking "enrolled ka na sa state u with your prio program, bakit ka pa mang aagaw ng slot sa UP?" The answer is my parents. If I get accepted to UPV, for sure I'll live there. And it's VERY FAR from my family (I live in Bulacan pa). If I stay at the school I'm currently enrolled at, they want me na mag-uwian. And to be honest, I don't think my mental health can handle living with them much longer. Very demanding pa yung course ko which is engineering. The only way I can see to escape is by studying at a state university somewhere else. I'm afraid UP lang yung school na papayagan nila ako to live far away because my current university is already known for its engineering program but I intend to study applied mathematics sa UPV sana. However, I don't want to be inconsiderate kasi I know that for a lot of people, UP is their only way to study college.

PS. My upg is 2.4 and I really like the UPV campus since mahilig ako maglakad lakad, and the scenery is soooo beautiful there.
Update: niluwa ako guys haha. State U in manila it is. Sana makahanap ako ng affordable na dorm 🥹🥹

Which school is better for mechanical engineering? May slot na ako sa TUP and mag eenroll na sana this friday but then I found out na I got accepted although First Come, First Serve lang so not sure kung makakakuha ng slot for mech eng din. Nahihirapan ako magdecide 😭😭
Hello po! Incoming freshman po ako for Mechanical Engineering sa TUP Manila. Mayroon po ba kayong tips and tricks? Hehe
Pls help me decide po. Which school po mas better for mechanical engineering? Budget is an issue but I passed the Entrance Merit Scholarship po sa FEU and based sa qualifications(yung gwa and grades), pasado naman po ako and nabasa ko na full tuition and misc yung cover niya as long as may grade retention. Whereas sa TUP-M naman po is guaranteed na 4 years ako makakapag-aral ng libre. Huhuhu
Hello po! Yung entrance merit scholarship po ba is for 4 years na po or for the first year lang? If first year lang, renewable po ba siya every school year?
