GUYS I was a dropper my rank is around 10k and I got nit Silchar cse in first round and I think I will get nit jamshedpur cse in upcoming rounds, (but if God wants mnc in nit Rourkela or nit kurukshetra cse).

Ahem Anyways, Popular to contrary believe I didn't get into jee because well of a rat race or parents told me, it was my decision because i watched interstellar with my brother in 2019 and he pursued physics coz he liked space and I am pursuing cse because because I liked the robot ( couldn't get robotics branch and money is important too).

I am allotted nit Silchar cse in first round

It's my 26th choice but due to choice filling mistake I think I put nit jamshedpur(hs)and durgapur higher than Silchar.

Now I was checking placements and saw the median of Silchar is far more than jamshedpur or durgapur.

But right above nit Silchar I also put iiit Allahabad it(22(4yrs)/23(5yrs)).

Do you think I'll get jamshedpur/dgp before iiit allahabad or should I just freeze Silchar?

Or the chances of getting iiit allahabad is more?

I'm a sc female and my category rank is 42**. Can I get nit surathkal circuital branches?

Is it better to take mechanical or chemical in nit Warangal or surthakal?

Taking campus life, placement all in.

In 2023, after 10th ended and vacation started I went to my hometown to spend a month there.

A man used to work under my uncle ,her daughter was giving jee(probably her 12th).

I saw her helping her father, feed cows, and then do her own house chores with her mother.

Sometimes during her breaks I used to sit with her, I asked her how much she got in mains and she told me 90%, but now she is prepping for advanced in her free time.

(Her father used to send her to some coaching over there, but the teacher didn't give any attention to her because well yk her father is a "lower class" person, so seeing the money was getting wasted, she started prepping by herself and youtube.)

I asked how she cleared the cut off, because its usually 91+.

She told me she's from the sc category.

Later on I got to know, she got smh between 53-56in adv.

She cleared the cut off and I think she got an IIT lower branch.

Because she got iit she got an educational loan easily.

She's probably in her 3rd year.

I'm really Happy for her because she's the most hardworking and deserving person ever.

And she prepped by herself.

So I think some people do deserve the reservation.

But obviously this is my opinion.

Yesterday I checked my score via mathango it was really low so I checked by myself and saw a lot of options were jumbled up there.

I'm scoring almost double of what was shown.

I'm a little confused, can someone help me?

Guys I'm getting 52ish marks in jee advanced I'm sc and I'm female. I fucked up physics really bad, so got a lot of negative.

So what can I hope?
