Tips and tricks to increase supply/output?

Please share your tips and tricks for increasing supply if any! And im not talking "stay hydrated", was there anything else that surprisingly seemed to do it for you?

Im 8 weeks pp and went from a slight over supply that allowed a small freezer stash, to a sudden drop that required me to use up said stash, to now making just enough if not a little less. I feel like im chasing the feeds and cant depend on having enough for the next. Ive had to introduce a small amount of formula just to ensure i have backup just in case.

For context, LO is breast and bottle fed with expressed milk due to a long journey of oral ties, triple feeding, poor transfer etc. Im not ready to give up our few breast feeding sessions a day to exclusively pump, so for now LO gets a top up bottle after a breastfeed, and is bottle fed throughout the evening/night time to give me a break from the long extensive feed sessions. Ive accepted that bottles and pumping is a part of this journey now too. Id love to up my supply a bit more to help support stronger breastfeeds as well as pumping output and hopefully be a little ahead with my fridge supply rather then behind.

LC suggested moringa awhile back so ive been giving that a try this week, I also eat lots of oats and include bodyarmor drinks occasionally which seem to help short term output but nothing has steadily increased the supply yet. I only have a eufy s1 wearable pump as I didn't expect to be pumping as much as I am, im thinking its time to invest in a double electric primary pump as well (ive been looking in to the lansinoh signature pump).

For context, LO is breast and bottle fed with expressed milk due to a long journey of oral ties, triple feeding, poor transfer etc. Im really working towards primarily breastfeeding but for now LO isn't satisfied at the breast alone si he requires top ups after a session, and sometimes i just need a break from the long extensive feed sessions so ive accepted that bottles and pumps are a part of this journey for now. Cmpa symptoms?

I want to preface this by saying I do plan to see a pediatrician as soon as possible, but i need to get a referral first so in the meantime thought I would get some insight from others who have experience with CMPA.

I recently posted regarding hypoallergenic formula after coming to the conclusion that my 8 week old likely has CMPA. I just found this group so thought I would post symptoms here to see if others agree.

LO has been chronically congested and spits up frequently, pretty much every feed, since birth. Spit ups happen during feeds, immediately after, and also can be delayed. Initially I assumed he had reflux (he also had significant oral ties which i was told could be a factor as well). At now 8 weeks old, none of this has improved but has not worsened either.

This week I decided to introduce formula as ive noticed a drop in supply and triple feeding has been the death of me. As soon as I introduced the formula I noticed mucous in his stools but no blood. It started slowly but has continued to increase all week as ive continued with the formula supplementation. I also began to notice rash like spots on the body, and acne/spots on the face that seem more dry then before. Along with all of this he also has cradle cap and dry skin. Then this morning, he left two bottles unfinished which were a mix of breastmilk and formula, and this is very unlike him as he is a big eater. For context, my household is primarily plant based/dairy free, but I myself do consume dairy occasionally its just not a huge part of my diet, which is why I was thinking symptoms may have been mild and missed up until the now introduction of formula.

My first born had severe CMPA and required a prescription formula so not wanting to wait and cause LO more discomfort or reactions, I decided we should try out nutramigen. Im just wondering if others agree all of this together may indicate CMPA or if maybe im being overly cautious due to past experience? I will say that he is a "happy spitter", and up until this point i would say the discomfort he has from gas or pooping seemed within normal newborn range to me and doesnt result in any colic or inconsolable fussing. That said, he is a velcro baby and does not tolerate being put down for long.

Sorry for the long post! Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and reply!

Cmpa formula success?

Ive recently determined that my LO has CMPA after introducing some formula. My eldest also had severe CMPA and only had success on prescription Amino acid formula. We are in Canada so were able to get a prescription and coverage for Puramino.

We combo feed so I will be cutting out what little dairy I consume. I am wondering if anyone has had some positive experiences and success on the store bought hypoallergenic formulas such as nutramigen? Or if I should head right to the pediatrician to go the route of Puramino again?

I will be making a pediatrician appointment regardless but I need a referral first, so for now I want to do what I can to minimize symptoms until then and would love to hear some experiences from fellow parents who have gone through the same!

Thanks in advance!
