Breakout (1975)
Bronson film number 4 for me. This was a good one! Didn’t expect to see a young Robert Duvall and a young Randy Quaid.

Watched Lady Snowblood tonight, starring Meiko Kashi and directed by Toshiya Fujima.
I did not know this was the movie that inspired Kill Bill, until I started watching.
I liked this a lot. Quentin Tarantino obviously did too.
Hi all - I’m starting a men’s book club here in Sac.
Initial thought is for it to be one book a quarter. Starting with nonfiction in the Fall, a Classic for Winter. Spring, a newer fiction novel. And for summer, a thriller/mystery or something similar.
Goal would be to meet at least once when finished with the book, but hopefully at least one other time while we’re reading. Will have an open chat of some kind.
Currently have two others who have reached out with interest. And potentially a Sac book store who has shown some interest.
Message me if interested

Just picked up This Vast Enterprise: A New History of Lewis & Clark, by Craig Fehrman.
I’m going to start it September 1, and take my time with it. Would read Parts 1 and 2 in September and parts 3 and 4 in October.
I am starting a men’s book club (no offense ladies, I love your work), September 1. Beginning with a nonfiction book. If you were going to join a book club, which of these would you be most interested in?
The Story of Your Life: How Social Media Shapes the Way We Experience Everything, Kathryn Jezer-Morton.
Factfulness, Hans Rosling
Cocked and Boozy: An Intoxicating History of the American Revolution, Brooke Barbier
American Men, Jordan Ritter Conn
The Rush: California Gold, the Civil War, and the Making of the Modern World, Nathan Philbrick
