Had a reader tell me they dont see “labor” or working in my chart.

Hello! New to the subreddit and wanted some opinions! I commissioned one of my astrology friends do a reading and they told me they dont really see me working at all which was interesting. I do feel like everytime Ive had a job or tried go find one i financially struggled the most but when i was idle or focused on education I had the most financial stability which is currently my situation. Just wanted some insight if anyone can give. I usually use placidus but he used whole signs when he read my chart.

My experience with Dr Zuriel in Tijuana (repost)

EDIT: Reddit filtered this for some reason so reposting:) I added some links and clarified some things in the review. If i should add anything feel free to let me know. I added before and afters of my day 1 results

Hello everyone! I just recently had my chin lipo + facetite procedure with Dr Zuriel in Tijuana. I booked through Natural Body Spa but Body by Plastique and NBS are the same office. Its a little confusing. Anyways heres a run down on my experience and recommendations.

Traveling to the border

I was traveling from OC. I was initially going to take the Amtrak train since i was going with my mother and she didnt want to drive but last minute I decided it was best to drive. It was about an hour and half to the parking structure that was a really close walk to the San Ysidro border. My mom forgot her passport😭so she had to go back and get it which made me a little nervous because I didnt want to be in the surgery room by myself but thankfully everything went well and the clinic team was very helpful and professional. I walked across the border and it was pretty easy to navigate everything. I do NOT recommend booking a taxi. There are gonna be a lot of people trying to get you to ride in their taxi when you exit the border. Just use Uber and i personally suggest tipping well because the fares are pretty low in TJ. My hotel was about 10 minutes from the border and it was $5 for the Uber. I stayed in Hotel Indigo by IHG which was $160 i believe for one night. You could definitely get a more affordable hotel but I wanted to treat myself a little bit and it was close to the border and the clinic.

Procedure

I went to the building provided in the instructions NBS sent. Went I went inside the staff asked me for a QR code so I do recommend asking for the QR code ahead of time because It wasn’t given to me and i waited for like 4-5 min(I was already 5 min late dealing with my mom and checking into my hotel). They eventually just let me in. In my personal opinion I wouldnt book through Natural Body Spa. The communication was a little too casual for me and their response times are kind of all over the place but they are nice. But Dr Zuriel was very nice and professional. His assistant speaks English fluently and explained the entire procedure to me step by step. The entire procedure took about hour. It was pretty uncomfortable honestly but it was mostly painless. The anesthesia was the WORST part. And I do mean the worst. The initial injections pinched and burned pretty badly but it only lasted about 2 seconds. Worst 2 seconds ever though. I would rate the pain a 8/10 and I have a pretty high pain tolerance. The actual lipo was a quite jarring but it wasnt painful. You do feel pressure and you can slightly feel the tube going into your chin and neck which was a very weird experience to say the least. There were moments of a little pain and Zuriel was quick to administer more anesthesia. Its pretty uncomfortable and a little scary but the procedure went by really fast. They covered my chest and the top of my head with a sterile medical blanket and they gave me a breast implant to squeeze on which i thought was a little insane and also pretty hilarious and it did end up pretty useful for the anesthesia parts. The office was really clean. Zuriel and his assistant do have casual conversations while theyre performing the procedure but that part I didnt really mind and it kind of helped ease my nerves a little bit. Overall it wasnt the best hour of my life but it wasnt horrifying even though I did cry😭 but im naturally an emotional person.

Post Care

I did end up having to pay $80 for their faja since the one i brought only covered the chin area and not my neck so if you dont want to pay(they overcharging for the faja in my opinion) make sure you get a faja that covers your neck and chin area. They also added lipo foam. i didnt have to but for convenience I did purchase my meds at the clinic.

Massage

Dr Zuriel recommended i start massages the day after. NBS gives you a list of massage therapists you can book with. I went with Perla since she had an early appointment available. The massage didn’t hurt and Perla was very gentle and professional but it wasn’t a super relaxing experience since you can hear other therapists working and sometimes hear the machines they’re using and they can get a little loud. If you’re sensitive to sound and want more of a relaxing treatment, I would book with someone else and book ahead of time of course. Also Perla only takes cash so keep that in mind if you decide to book with her.

Transport back to the border

My mom came the next day to help me and I was originally going to walk back but i saw videos on how long the lines get and how many hours people have to wait in line ( Ive seen people say they stood in line for 5+ hours😭 im not doing that no shade) and my mom doesn’t have Global Entry but I do. Luckily NBS helped me with transportation back to the US. I recommend organizing the transportation a couple days in advance especially if you book through NBS but they were available to take me the same day I left and it was $130 with the medical pass included which i believe is $70 on its own. If you need a medical pass you have to purchase at the clinic the day you get your surgery and they were able to pick us up at our hotel. It took me and my mom about 25-30 minutes to go from our hotel to across the border with the driver they gave us. The driver was really nice and professional as well. It’s a little pricey but super helpful and convenient because i didn’t want nor did I have to stand in line for hours.

Total cost: $1770 (i forgot to include the massage in my original post.)

Recommendations:

If youre sleeping in a hotel with white sheets or you have white sheets in your bed i suggest getting a black or dark colored towel for the first day. When you come out of the clinic youre kind of dripping 😭 its pretty gross so i would wrap it around your neck or lay it on your pillow so you dont get blood/fluid stains everywhere. Also wear dark clothing to avoid blood stains during surgery.

Eat. Low sodium is recommended especially for the first couple of weeks post procedure. I didnt eat before mainly due to the travel hiccups and i wish i ate before the procedure. Its not hard or painful to eat afterwards but it can be annoying with the faja. They do recommend having a full meal before the surgery and I agree. You do feel a bit lightheaded and tired after.

Purchase a chin faja that covers your neck AND chin. I ordered another one on amazon for $20 and its much better than the $80 faja they gave me. Link in the comments. It fits my big head pretty well and its more comfortable than the $80 faja.

The medications ran me $100. If you able to, there is a couple clinics nearby where you can fill your meds for a lower price. For me i just wanted to get back to my hotel ASAP so i purchased the meds at the clinic but i would look into getting the meds elsewhere if you’re on a budget.

If anyone has any questions or needs information on anything let me know! I added some of my pictures in the comments. Im going to post my results in a couple weeks when the swelling has subsided a little bit.

Did anyone experience weird movement in their lips after their procedure?

I just got done with my session with Dr Zuriel. Everything went really well and so far(will post about my experience soon) I feel fine just a bit funny. I just noticed though that went I smile my bottom lip moves to the side. I read online that this is nerve stunning. Did anyone else experience this? How long did it last for you? I am planning on contacting the doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Dr said i should get chin lip with facetite AND endolift. Did anyone do the same? How was the results?

Im booking with Dr Zuriel in Tijuana and i did a photo consultation via whatapp with Natural Body Spa. The dr recommended both facetite and endolift for me since i have thicker skin which adds volume. After doing some research on both procedures i feel like it would be overkill since im still young(27F) so i only booked facetite but i wanted to see if anyone did both and what their experience was. Especially if youre around my age and went to Dr Zuriel as well.

Lymphatic Massages recommendations

Hi everyone! Im going to be going to Dr Zuriel for chin lipo in Tijuana and im having a bit of a hard time finding a good physician that does lymphatic draining massages in my area or even finding a good routine or a device that I can use. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good massage therapist in the Orange County area for lymphatic draining? Or any good videos or devices i could use?

Clinic + Procedure Reccomendations

Hello everyone! Im in Thailand and am thinking about going to South Korea for a couple days since I have to have a layover before going back to America anyways. Was hoping to get some skin treatments done while I was there. My main concerns are skin texture, some hyperpigmentation, and pores on my cheek area. I was thinking about getting Rejuran or Juvelook. Im also thinking about getting fillers but im not sure if ill have time healing wise. Not really interested in factory clinics I really want a personalized experience and a deep skin analysis but also be a bit more affordable if possible.

I recently received an inheritance and I'm a little lost on what to do.

I'm 27f. My grandmother passed away and I recieved a check from the sale of her house. I have about 120,000 left after paying down cc and personal debt and some school supplies+ light shopping. I want to move at least 100,000 into a HYSA or some time of account that accrues good amount of interest until I can figure out what I want to do with it. I still live with my family and am looking to start planning on moving out soon. This is the first time I have ever had this much money and I am a little scared as i don't want to make a mistake and spend it all. I spoke with the CPA at my credit union and we spoke on my goals and he said I should figure out my budget and what I'll need the money for before investing since investing is more long term. I just need a sense of direction before I open any more bank accounts. Right now I have 90% of the money in a money market with my bank that has about 1.5% interest i believe and I just take out what i need occasionally.
