I have been watching a lot of documentary these days and I have this urge to make one of my own. I'm in college right now and I'm not getting any idea on what should I make my documentary on. I just want to play safe and not make any those kind of investigative documenatry cuz I don't wanna get in trouble, I just need to make something
I'm an editor/student who is looking for opportunities in video editing. I can do short videos, long form videos, motion graphics and even graphic designing.
I'm an aspiring filmmaker and I know how pacing and storytelling works. It's good for travel videos and even for reels.
So if anyone out there needs an editor for any of the stuff, we can have a chat in dm.
Prices won't be an issue because I'm the one in need here .
Hey everyone,
I'm an engineering student and my major is not CS, but I want to pursue a career in CS. The main problem is that due to my deep interest in filmmaking, cinematography, and video editing, I'm not able to give proper time to study CS. Because of this constant confusion, I'm not even able to do my video work properly either.
All my friends who are preparing for CS are very far ahead of me because they don't have this confusion and have only one clear goal. My parents will not accept filmmaking as a career and they expect me to graduate and get a stable job, but getting a CS job as a non-major is very hard right now.
I have my summer vacations going on, and while my friends have secured internships, I have nothing lined up. I might be able to get some small video editing gigs, but I’m torn on whether I should do those or just focus entirely on building CS projects and doing DSA. There is also an option for me to aim for a Data Analyst role since many people say it's easier to get into than core SDE roles.
I need proper advice on what to do. What productive things can I start doing right now during this break that will be helpful for my future and help me clear this mess?
