What’s the difference between Astranti and Chrysalis?

I’m hoping to join astranti fast track to level 4.

But I’m only now realising I should’ve done more research. Astranti say they’re BACP approved. But I feel like if you’ve completed a CPCAB Councelling course all you need to do is register individually and pass the exam to join the BACP.

I’m wondering now if Im still able to get on the BACP registration even if I enrolled myself into a free counselling level 4 course at my local education adult centre VS paying monthly to Astranti.

I feel like i’ve wasted my money😭😭

Any positive stories from level 4 counselling course Astranti?

Is it normal for husband to not apologise

I come from a background where sorry is never mentioned. Conflicts usually resolve by moving on and going back to “normal”.

I don’t believe in all of that. I believe if you’ve upset the person they deserve a genuine apology.

My husband likes to move on from conflicts like it’s normal. I talk about and he gets annoyed that I “keep bringing things up” when I should somehow move on from it without talking about it. Yes not everything needs a discussion but why move past everything?

I can’t even speak to my elders about this they all have that mentality of not apologising and see my issue as small and minor.

How long does the pit in your stomach last?

Officially separated as of this past weekend.

We’re both living separately. I thought I was doing well but instead when he came round to drop the kids off today hearing his voice just kind of set me back a bit. And now I’m just sat here with this pit in my stomach while my kids are playing around.

I’m not sure what it is but all i know is I just wanna roll up in a ball and CRY!!

It’s not like I want to get back together with him so i don’t know :(((( just feeling it right now even though I was absolutely fine yesterday.

Please tell me I won’t ever be bothered by his voice, presence, face ever again???

Being intimate with ex husband ???

Has anyone here continued being physically intimate with their (soon to be) ex-husband without any strings attached?

My issue is… I need physical intimacy. I’m way past the point of being emotionally connected to be able to be intimate with him as I checked out mentally months and months ago. However we’re humans with needs :(.

The best way I can describe our situation is “just because two people are good, doesn’t mean they’ll be good together”

Please don’t suggest self pleasure

I feel so alone in my marriage.

I (27f) feel so alone in my marriage. My husband (34m) and I barely talk, dont go out together and it feels like we’re just roommates. ive tried bringing it up but he says im overthinking it and believes just because hes home we’re spending time together? but truly he’s on his phone/computer.

When we go out he’s on his phone watching youtube shorts or football. When i try to converse he’s giving me one worded answers which feels so forced.

It makes me feel like im asking for a lot, when all i want is some undivided quality time. As a result our physical relationship has significantly gone down.

Im stuck not sure what to do. I really want my marriage to work but it feels one sided and it hurts. I just feel like giving up.

Has anyone been in this kind of situation before and if so what did u do to fix it?:(

Feeling like i’m asking for too much.

I (27f) feel so alone in my marriage. My husband (34m) and I barely talk, dont go out together and it feels like we’re just roommates. ive tried bringing it up but he says im overthinking it and believes just because hes home we’re spending time together? but truly he’s on his phone/computer.

When I plan for us to go places he’ll just be on his phone watching youtube shorts/football. When I try to converse with him he’s giving one word answers and feels so forced :((((

It makes me feel like im asking for a lot, when all i want is some undivided quality time. As a result our intimacy life has gone down.

I feel so stuck alone. My mother believes because he’s providing Ishould just be grateful, which i can totally understand why she said that as we grew up in different generations.

Anyone else in similar situations

I want to leave my marriage but have a high drive.

Throwaway account!! I’m not sure who to ask as it’s not a common problem.

As the title says, my marriage isn’t really working and i don’t want to stay for the sake of the kids as it could potentially have a major impact on them when they’re older. (since they’re really young now i think it’s best now)

My only problem is.. i have a high drive and that’s the only thing that’s keeping me married with my husband.
