Hearing a lot of talk about Bitwarden users being upset recently about a private equity firm.

Seeing a lot of posts about how the founder had to step down as CEO and that Michael Sullivan is now the CEO who has a background heavy in mergers/acquisitions and working with private equity firms (e.g., prior roles at Acquia and Insightsoftware).

I am ignorant on topics like this, especially given that it’s open source, perform audits, and such. I have been a long time user of Bitwarden, so as a consumer and user. Should I honestly be worried? Or is this just a thing of people freaking out about a change and they bombard with posts cause they are upset and feel like they want to vent?

I also ask this cause when I help out with some coworkers (I work in healthcare) in helping out their cyber security (especially since some travel), I always recommend Bitwarden.

New to Linux, PC will not completely shutdown or restart. Need help please.

I am currently running Bazzite OS on my new second m.2 SSD, set the bios to have it boot up into that instead of Windows 11 on my other m.2 ssd. Everything is fine and dandy until I decide to shut down the pc. Regardless if I use the regular shut down method via the gui or use a command line. I will get logged out, both monitors will stop receiving singles. However, the PC itself will stay on. (Fans will still spin, the lights are on, etc). I can manually shut it down via holding down the power button. I have tried different bashes in the terminal, in some cases it will shut down perfectly. And I’m like yay it worked! I started it back up, play some games, go shut it down and it’s back to square one.

Note: I am running an Nvidia gpu and a AMD Ryzen cpu. I do have secure boot disabled when I was trying out dual booting. As well as Power Down Enable changing from Auto to Enabled. Wake Up Event By changing from BIOS to OS. ErP is enabled

I am switching over to Linux away from Windows and was playing with Pop_OS and Bazzite. I didn’t had any issues with Pop OS with the dual monitors. I swapped over to Bazzite and I tried to arrange my Samsung to be the primary and enable HDR on the right side and with my MSI monitor as enabled for the left side. I click apply but nadda, MSI monitor stayed on, no message about accepting changing, no single was sent to the Samsung. I reset the pc and the settings went back to default. I am currently using a display cable for the Samsung and a hdmi to the MSI. They are all connected to the gpu.
