Making the final tweaks before publication. Overall, it turned out quite ergonomic; it just needs a foregrip and some accessories like a PEQ box and a flashlight. The fire selector is easy to operate thanks to the large opening at the bottom. The charging handle locks in the forward position and doesn't rattle while firing. I built a short version for myself using a 165mm inner barrel, but I also created two other lengths and handguards with a bottom rail—after all, everyone has different preferences. Right now, I'm finalizing the design and preparing the assembly instructions.

I designed it for stocks that mount onto a rail. It’s best printed at 100% infill; once assembled, it becomes quite rigid. The button design is based on the MP9—in my opinion, it’s the most reliable option for printing.

I’ve temporarily assembled it using a few dabs of hot glue just to get a sense of the dimensions. I’m currently waiting for the delivery of screws, threaded inserts, and 8mm carbon fiber guide rods. This is the first version of the upper; the second one has been slightly refined—I tweaked a few details, but more on that later. This version fits over the AAP-01 without requiring major modifications or complex printing. The only requirement is drilling a hole for the TDC screw, but there will be a special template provided for that.

The locking button will be located at the bottom as a lever, similar to the Evo 3 style.
I’m also going to add a cheek riser like the Magpul one. But overall, it feels like something is missing from the design.

I’m continuing to work on this project. To start, I decided to create a simple version of an upper receiver that slips over the stock AAP-01 upper, but with a TDC mod added. Based on my calculations, a 180mm inner barrel will fit perfectly inside. During testing, my AAP-01 with a 290mm barrel chronoed at 2.32 Joules using 0.30g BBs at 110 psi, so I think 180mm will be just right. For the stock rails, I plan to use either 8x1.5mm aluminum tubing or 8mm printer guide rods.And there will probably be an interchangeable forend.

I’m making an upper receiver for my beloved AAP-01, along with a custom lower receiver designed for Specna X-Series mid-cap magazines. The trickiest part is creating a 3D-printed HPA adapter, but I think I’ve figured out a solution. I’ll be printing it soon and will show you how it’s done.

The Maxim Defense-style handguard is ready. I made it from ABS-CF. The upper will have a direct HPA engine mount, like on the MTW. I'll make it in two styles: retro M16A1 and M4A1. The grip is made in the driven arms style with a gearbox mount. I already have the grip and various forend versions on my Cults. The muzzle makes a very specific sound, like a sharp pop. I'll add a link in the comments if anyone asks. The folding stock is currently being printed. I'll update it later with a new post.

All that remains is to bring the appearance as close as possible to the original and you can print. A couple of spools of composite are already waiting for this. I prepared everything inside. I did everything so that the main components could be bought in any store. And yes it will be hpa but with a nuance;)

I'm finishing up work on a very light replica of the kac lamg. It will work on HPA, but I’ll tell you about all the nuances when I finish printing.

I've liked this design for a long time, but you can only install such a handguard on HK replicas. I'll wait for abs cf and try to do it. the petg didn't turn out very well. Don’t look at the print quality; the printer had not yet been updated and there were problems with the mechanics.

My stock chamber started to crack, so I adapted the chamber from the m4 vfc. I shortened the neck by 2mm and cut off the magazin stop and now I have one of the best stock hop-up chambers.
