I’m making an upper receiver for my beloved AAP-01, along with a custom lower receiver designed for Specna X-Series mid-cap magazines. The trickiest part is creating a 3D-printed HPA adapter, but I think I’ve figured out a solution. I’ll be printing it soon and will show you how it’s done.
The Maxim Defense-style handguard is ready. I made it from ABS-CF. The upper will have a direct HPA engine mount, like on the MTW. I'll make it in two styles: retro M16A1 and M4A1. The grip is made in the driven arms style with a gearbox mount. I already have the grip and various forend versions on my Cults. The muzzle makes a very specific sound, like a sharp pop. I'll add a link in the comments if anyone asks. The folding stock is currently being printed. I'll update it later with a new post.
All that remains is to bring the appearance as close as possible to the original and you can print. A couple of spools of composite are already waiting for this. I prepared everything inside. I did everything so that the main components could be bought in any store. And yes it will be hpa but with a nuance;)
I'm finishing up work on a very light replica of the kac lamg. It will work on HPA, but I’ll tell you about all the nuances when I finish printing.
I've liked this design for a long time, but you can only install such a handguard on HK replicas. I'll wait for abs cf and try to do it. the petg didn't turn out very well. Don’t look at the print quality; the printer had not yet been updated and there were problems with the mechanics.
My stock chamber started to crack, so I adapted the chamber from the m4 vfc. I shortened the neck by 2mm and cut off the magazin stop and now I have one of the best stock hop-up chambers.
