Second time in 45 days

Second time in 45 days I’ve booted my PC and the driver is suddenly missing with wavelink

The only fix is to uninstall the app, unplug the device, reinstall everything, plug it back in, and set it all up again from scratch.

Anyone else dealing with this on 3.0, or found a permanent fix?

Driver install issue ?

Thanks in advance. I've been using WaveLink 3.0 since the XLR Pro came out. Basically never had a problem at all. Then one day I turn my computer on and it's saying it's missing the driver when I clearly see on the computer. I try to repair it, I try to remove it and install it manually. I try updating WaveLink by downloading the new one. I basically did everything I could besides uninstalling it and reinstalling it with unplugging the XLR Pro itself. That process was basically the only thing that fixed it when I was left with no other recourse.

I guess my question is: is there any other way to fix this in the future that I wasn't aware of or better yet is there actually a way to back up all your settings? By settings I really just mean the mixer. I had to set that all up again and what a pain it was because some of it I couldn't remember where I left some of the volume knobs at. Thanks in advance.

Battery life question

Guys, has this actually worked for anybody. This is my last resort. I've tried everything and this is probably the last thing I can think of doing to maybe mitigate or resolve my battery drain issue with my phone. I did the Shizuku A Battery Test. I came back with a 90% health . Phone is about two years old.

For reference I'm probably getting 3 hours to 4 hours SOT with light mode on or off, it really doesn't make a difference

I have all my apps in deep sleep mode except for my messaging apps. I tried to mimic everything that would have happened if I'm in maximum power saving mode because when I turn that on I get like 20 hours but I'm trying to see how I can mimic that while still keeping adaptive screen display

--------- below as reference as to why I'm asking of i should do it .......
Reset of battery learning

Steps to Reset Battery Stats: Open the Phone app: Launch the default phone app on your Samsung S24. Dial the code: Enter the following code in the dialer: *#9900#. Access the System Screen: The code will open a system screen, likely with various debugging options. Locate Battery Stats Reset: Scroll down until you find the "Battery stats reset" option. Reset the stats: Tap on "Battery stats reset". Confirm and Exit: You may need to confirm the reset, and then exit the system screen by tapping the "Back" or "Exit" button. Restart: It's recommended to restart your phone after resetting the battery stats.

disabling background data confusion

I’m kind of confused and wondering if I’m missing something obvious.

I’m on an S24 Ultra running One UI 8.5, and I’m trying to save as much battery as possible. I put apps like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok into Deep Sleep, restricted their background data, and also went through the battery settings under Device Care and turned off whatever background/sync options I could find per app

Basically, I checked every box I could think of to make sure these apps don’t run in the background and don’t send push notifications.

But somehow, I’m still getting push notifications from them.

Does that mean the apps are still operating in the background somehow, even with all of those restrictions enabled? Everything I’ve looked up makes it sound like this shouldn’t be happening, so I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding how Deep Sleep/background restrictions work or if Samsung/Android still allows some notifications through.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Battery life at a complete loss

I'll keep this short and appreciate any help I can get. Basically had this phone, I think, for maybe 18 months. It was great in the beginning and now this is what I'm dealing with. Maybe this phone will probably last me another three hours, maybe four.

I'll look at this and think it's really bad battery life. I basically have every app in deep sleep besides maybe the ones I use the most, which are essentially just messaging apps. All my social media apps are in deep sleep and I even turned off their background data. All my apps are basically either optimized or restricted except for the messaging apps. Am I just boned out now and have a crap phone? There's no way around this. I'm really not too sure what to do.

For reference I don't have power save mode and I don't have light mode on. If I did turn light mode on, it essentially gave me another hour in the estimate.
