A picky, rigid, particular partner (could he due to anything) what’s it like long term? Does it get better?

What got you to that point?

I (33F) got engaged this weekend and had spent a month planning an engagement shoot at a special location (on a different day than the engagement but same weekend). I had found the photographer, paid, picked out a dress and told family and friends and was excited for it. I had also told my fiance but he claimed he didn’t know (thought I meant wedding day shoot) and he refused to do it. I explained it was important to me and he refused and said it was important to him not to do it and made me cancel it. I then had to last minute cancel with the photographer, lost my deposit and had to tell my family and friends that my fiance just refused to participate despite me saying it was important to me. AITA For forcing him or imposing an engagement shoot on him? Just to clarify, he had the day off already and does not have any significant social anxiety or anything, he just thinks this kind of stuff is BS and didn’t want to do it
