Is it ever reasonable to reschedule a visit because of an argument?

Interested in hearing your opinions. Obviously not talking about cheating or abuse or anything like that

feeling really sad like I caused us to breakup

Any other women here struggle with jealousy/insecurity stuff? 90% of the time I am a very calm, level headed person. When it comes to stuff about other women though, I am extremely sensitive and get quite emotional and sad. It takes a while for me to trust. I was dating this guy long distance for 3 months and we had a massive argument where I felt really invalidated, he felt accused and attacked, and ultimately cancelled me coming to see him because he felt this situation could happen again and he’s studying for exams and can’t handle that right now.

He told me no one he knows cares about that stuff, he’s never dealt with it in a relationship, that it’s a cultural difference? I’m British and he’s German so idk about all that. He said we can reschedule meeting after his exams, but I told him that would make it three months since we last saw each other, we’re not even official, and I can’t do that to myself. So I ended it. I feel so guilty now though like I caused all this stress for him and should have just shut up. I made a post about the argument before it was over him liking provocative stuff from this woman he knows on ig. If I’d known it would be a big deal I would have just not said anything. At the same time I feel like shit that his response was ‘you’re being abnormal, no one I know cares about this, she has a bf anyway why do you care.‘ I could have been calmer in how I talked about it for sure but I got so upset seeing him like that type of stuff.

I’m more just venting now lol sorry this has been like a whole weekend thing for me and I’ve been crying on and off

Update to my previous post about us arguing and him telling me we’re not even official

I called him this afternoon after silence since yesterday evening. He replied in a text basically saying he doesn’t want me to come on Tuesday and fly to him anymore, he’s stressed from exams and doesn’t want to be arguing for 4 days. So he’s fully cancelled seeing me and doesn’t want me to come anyway because of this argument over social media posts. I asked again to call and he refused. So I guess that’s it, he said he wants to reschedule but that just sounds like a ‘break’ that becomes a breakup. Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post I know everyone was nice but I still feel like absolute shit. I’ve barely eaten anything since this whole argument started and I just feel so bad over it

Edit: I broke up with him, he insisted he doesn’t want me to come. He didn’t acknowledge how upset I was after I told him I’d been crying all night. He still was blaming me for everything and telling me I was upset for no reason. So in short our whole argument and end of relationship was over text! Tried to call twice and he refused. I feel really sad but know it’s for the best

We had an argument today, and in the argument he reminded me ‘we’re not even officially together’

Felt so horrible. We’ve been dating almost three months, seen each other 4 times. I am meant to fly to him on Tuesday. And he just reminds me he’s not my boyfriend, and all the time and moments I’ve spent with him treating this like a relationship was me being completely stupid.

The argument was over him liking Instagram thirst traps btw. Ended with him calling me toxic, insecure, and telling me he’s rethinking our whole ‘relationship’ (even though it’s not one). I’ve been crying all day :(
