AB is great but being honest dairy probably isn't great for the gut?

I understand milk has beneficial bacteria, especially in things like Greek yoghurt etc but something like 80% of the world lose their ability to digest lactose properly after infancy. If we're being honest if you were going for optimal health and digestion would you really include dairy?

Not trying to cause an argument fyi, just a discussion.

Been overcharged, mis-sold, or messed about by Scottish Power? Looking to gather people together

Hi all,

After my own issues dealing with Scottish Power. I've been looking into a pattern of issues with Scottish Power — overcharging, mis-selling, poor communication, complaints not being resolved — and it turns out Ofgem already has an open compliance case into how ScottishPower handles complaints, plus a history of enforcement action including a £1.5m redress package for overcharging customers and a temporary sales ban after failing customer service targets.

If you've had a bad experience with them (overcharged, mis-sold a tariff, unresolved complaints, poor communication, anything along those lines), I'd like to hear from you. I'm looking into whether there's a case for collective action (Scotland has a "Group Proceedings" system, similar to a class action) — but at this stage I'm just gathering information and will be speaking to a solicitor once there's a clearer picture of scale and pattern.

If you want to share your experience:

Roughly what happened (overcharge, mis-sale, comms issue, etc.)

Roughly when

Whether you've already complained to Scottish Power / the Energy Ombudsman

Whether you'd be willing to be contacted if this goes further

No pressure, no fees, nothing binding — just trying to understand if this is a one-off pattern or something bigger. Feel free to comment or DM me.

My main worries is how difficult it's been to get anything resolved or get communication back from them as a 37 year old marketing and comms manager. I'd hate to see how bad it is for the older generation and more vulnerable.

What's the most important in your opinion?

I'm starting my own business which is requiring a lot of investment so trying to cut down costs on my AB diet.

Was just wondering in terms of ranking which is the most importsnt to keep and what swaps won't make too big a difference?

Raw a2 Jersey dairy would swap to pasteurised A2 dairy

Raw a2 cheddar cheese would swap to goat A2 cheese

Grass finished beef would swap to grass fed/grain finished beef

Pasteurised eggs would swap to free range eggs

I'm guessing switching from raw back to pasteurised would be the biggest deal? Or would it be from 100% grass fed to grain finished?

Need help. On a liquid/soft diet next 6 weeks but want to try keep it AB

Had to have surgery on a hernia in my chest which required work on my throat as well.

As a result I'm only allowed clear liquids and a "soft diet" for the next 6 weeks. Ideally I'd like to keep it as AB as possible though especially as my gut heals from the surgery so just looking for ideas.

Milk, smoothies, yoghurt, bone broth are a given but wondered if anyone had any other ideas for getting meat etc into the diet? It's quite hard to puree beef/lamb etc I'd imagine.

The example foods they gave me were...

Mashed potato's

Pureed soft chicken and potatoes and gravy

Corn beef hash

Pureed fish pie

Basically anything that's super soft and easy to digest. They say anything that will splat into a puddle if dropped on the floor

Any ideas for soups etc?

Coolest thing you've built for PPC using AI?

I've been learning how to operate Claude code a lot more efficiently the last few weeks and built some cool tools like a forecasting tool and quick auditing tool for current campaigns but looking for more inspiration.

What's some of the cool stuff you've built with Ai so far to help with PPC or just as an age cy/towards your client's overall?

Olympic lifting focused programme w metcon?

Hi guys

I'm looking to focus mainly on my Olympic lifting over the next few months (mainly on building better lift numbers and technique) but I'd like to at least keep my cardio going with some metcons/conditioning as well.

Has anyone got any programmes for this they can recommend?

My squat, bench and DL are good but my OL absolutely suck hence why trying to take some time to focus more on them

Is it time to admit PUBG is done for?

I love (or loved the game) but it's at the point now that there's so many bugs/cheats/issues with the game that it's becoming unplayable.

I've never had any of the same sort of issues at the same levels with any other game so it surely is an issue with their developers.

It also seems I'm not the only one who's given up as I'm guessing the amount of bots now is a direct reflection on them making up numbers as so many others have stopped playing as well due to all the issues.

I wish they'd stop trying to be so fancy and just sort the actual gameplay/glitches for once.

How long you adapt to animal based diet?

Switched properly to AB diet over the last few days to try and help my gut issues. My main issue is acid reflux which causes me eusophagitis.

Whilst my inflammation and bloating has went down since switching to strict AB, I seem to be having quite a lot of if not more acid reflux.

Did anyone else have the same experience and how long did it take to go away? Guessing because it's s high fat diet and a switch in my microbiome.

Diet so far has mainly been...

Slow cooked lamb

Olives

Goat cheese

Raw butter

Raw a2 milk

Mango

Banana

Blueberries

A2 greek yoghurt made from raw milk

Grass fed steak mince

Grass fed liver

Squash

Courgettes

Soy free eggs

Maple syrup organic

Raw honey

Berries have seeds is this not problematic?

Raspberries, blueberries etc are all very common on AB but they all have seeds which are the plants babies and usually protected.

So why are these fine to eat but not things like pumpkin seeds, squash seeds etc

Advice on raw a2 cheese

I'm trying to be as strict as possible with the diet. However, I live in Scotland where raw dairy is illegal so had to get stuff shipped over from England.

Got my order through today but the raw a2 cheese didn't come. Will it make a big difference if I just eat goat cheese from supermarket or proper mozzarella instead?
