As we take step back from the last 6 months, is it now clear to us that the uploads of the (relatively) high fidelity versions of the Old Tunes tapes were part of some kind of co ordinated “warm up” effort for the inferno release.
If so, presumably the brothers would have been aware of this happening, and sanctioned it etc?
…am I right in assuming that we are essentially assigning a “maximum level” to our riders - I.e if they only need 55 to maintain position but their level is at 75 they won’t actually operate at 75?
If this is the case, why not put your GC rider essentially at 90 at the top end of the peloton and just leave it?
(This isn’t too far from what I do in fairness)

I think I understand the underlying maths of these measures…
But how - on a practical level - do you guys interpret their meaning and their effect on rider performance? Like if somebody has 78 for mountain and 85 for mid mountain, what does that mean for how the rider will perform on a given stage?
…do these still exist on PCM? I am playing 25 and haven’t seen any yet?

But can somebody help me understand what the fundamental pleasure of the game is? What do people feel like is the dopamine / reward release they get from the game?
Is it map painting? Is it story?
What is the pay off?
