[Question\Discussion]Confused between getting a Playstation Portal VS Backbone One or a similar mobile controller for Sony+Steam Remote Play

So a Playstation Portal will cost around $250 these days while the BackBone gamepad for mobile licensed by Sony is $100 or a similar option from Gamesir is like $60

Despite being a higher priced item obviously in my head the advantage of the portal is being a separate dedicated device so no reliance or strain on my Smartphone
But is only for PS5
Can’t ever work on PC or SteamLink
And has no use case even as an extra controller for the PS5 or something

My use case will be playing at home in my bed as I am not really travelling alot
My PS5 is always on ethernet connection
And I have decent Wifi Routers from ASUS ROG that support 5GHz and provide decent coverage around the house

Note: My country doesn’t support the cloud gaming option available on the Premium PS Plus

Need to decide between a Switch 2 and a used Steam Deck LCD 256GB. What are your opinions?

I already own a PS5 and a very decent gaming laptop I was able to pick up at Black Friday. I am looking to treat myself as my birthday was 1st July. I have my eyes set on a Nintendo Switch 2 for 450 USD (I do have Zelda BOTW, Mario Kart 8 and Pokemon Sword lying around honestly didn’t play them as Switch 1 felt worse than me playing on my PS Vita back in 2012/13)

I want a device solely to play while chilling in my bed, lying down just story games nothing will be played online or competitive for that I stick to PS5 and PC gaming.

My only big concern is the games and their costs on Nintendo Switch 2 like from what I read they barely put any sales so fuck nintendo
Even my PS5 has some very decent sales on games different times of the year
Yet apparently even Breath of the Wild after all these years still sells at MSRP on nintendo shop

Steam Deck has the advantage of having games being way cheaper but I don’t like the fact it is already 4 years old hardware and doesn’t exactly add new games just gives the ability to play them online

Note: I don’t travel too much its more for playing while chilling.
